    Slimmers World is a company directly concern in helping its

    customers to achieve their fitness and health goals. It is using a

    more holistic approach in terms of providing the customers with

    great physical body. The company offers a wide array of services,

    which includes different physical fitness activities as well as health

    counselling especially with regard to nutrition. Slimmers World in its

    more or less 35 years of service continues to have satisfied clients

    who they call happy losers and happy faces. However, more and

    more competitors, especially Fitness First grab a significant part of

    its market share making them lost its position as the market leader

    in its industry.

    II. Overall Objective

    To regain its position as market leader on slimming, health, fitness

    and beauty industry.

    III. Target Market

    Slimmers World targets the youth and adults who want to keep fit

    and healthy. Some of them are models, athletes and those who are

    in to the entertainment industry. It also targets persons with fitness

    problems like obesity, persons with diabetes and any similar.

    Given the target market that they presently have, we suggest that

    they target young ones as well, with the age of around 7 to 12

    years old since even the kids now can be in to such service

    offerings.

    The Ultimate in Slimming, Health, Fitness and Beauty

    The business positioning strategy conveys an idea that Slimmers World is

    one of the top businesses on slimming industry with their promotion of proper

    health management.

    V. Strategy

    In order for the company to achieve its main objective, which is to regain

    its market position as the market leader, we recommend them to do the

    following strategies:

    Get involve with kids it is an obvious trend right now, that the

    market is getting more and more conscious to their health and even

    the kids want to be as fit as possible, at least that what their parents

    want. So we suggest that they also offer health, fitness and

    slimming programs that will be suit for kids, particularly within the

    age of 7 to 12 years old.

    Use your customers

    in the industry where the company is in to, it

    is more relevant that the promotion that companies should utilize is

    the word of mouth marketing. Having said this, it can be beneficial

    for them to use their customers to spread their satisfaction with

    regard to the company. We suggest that they make use of the

    customers who are popular like athletes, models and maybe even

    celebrities to market the company because those persons are

    arguably the ones who can positively influence the market. Hence,

    this can increase market awareness and eventually convert to

    market share.
