Skin Tutorial
By Jacob Lawton
This is the original image we had to edit, to take away the spots and or blemishes the woman had on her face.
I duplicated this layer to create another layer so I can edit the spots out with the spot tool.
I put this image into Photoshop and edited itwith these certain tools.
Before using this tool the picture looked like this with lots of spots.
In this picture you can see that all the spots that I have circled are gone.
After I had removed the spots I duplicated that layer and I know have 3, on the top layer I click Gaussian Blur
I am presented with a box that looks like this and I set it to a radius of 3.0 pixels.
This will help me show the detail in her face and make her face stand out a lot more because I will be outlining the detail with this effect.
I use the eraser tool to outline some detail on her face, this is an example
This is before I edited the woman's face with the eraser tool on the Gaussian blur
This is the final product of what I have produced, this shows how much anyone would look with a little but of Photoshop work
I now have to merge the first two layers and I do that by right clicking the top layer and clicking merge down.
I now have two layers in my Photoshop document. I will put these side by side to show an after and before shot of each to show my progress.
After clicking reveal all I see a side by side comparison of the original and edited version.
The last thing I will do is add text stating which image has the before shot and which image has the after shot. I will be using the text tool for this.
The final product now looks like this…
