About SkillfulMeans Leadership Lab

I didn’t know what to expect. My goals were to improve my stress management, self-confidence and to improve my leadership skills because I had a team to lead for the first time.

I’ve learned to be a coach and I received many compliments from my team members. I gained more confidence. During my performance review, my boss also told me that she noticed a change in my behavior since starting the program, so for me that was a really big win.

SkillfulMeans Leadership Lab was developed by Emil Ansarov, co-founder of SkillfulMeans Lab. He facilitates the program globally, and leads the SML Teacher Training. Over his 25 years experience as an IT management consultant and a managing partner, he has lead teams on complex global transformation projects. Time and again, he found that success was based more on sound leadership and how people interacted with each other - and less on particular processes or technology.

In addition to his corporate work, Emil has been working with groups and individuals for 18 years using neuroscience, cardiac footprint and mindfulness to help them discover their true selves and find meaning and fulfillment in their work and life.  His greatest joy is helping people discover their hidden qualities that leads them to be more than they ever thought possible.

Emil designed the program to empower leaders, teams and organizations to grow and meet complex challenges, collaborate better and realize their vision.
