Swami ji explains each shloka from Geeta ji by cross referencing it againstother Hindu scriptures such as the Puranas, Ramcharitmanas, Valmiki Ramayana, Shrimad Bhagwat etc. to name a few. Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta is one of the most popular Hindu scriptures and comprises 700 verses. It forms a part of another famousHindu epic-- the Mahabharata. It is a narrative dialogue between Arjuna, the Pandava prince standing in the battlefield ofKurukshetra, and Lord Krishna, who chose to be his charioteer for the entire course of the battle.
