The Live Well Resource The Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District and the Health Coalition of Wichita County is proud to present Live Well Wichita County, a website that provides resources for everyone trying to live a healthier and happier lifestyle. The Live Well program is the culmination of a year long effort and collaboration with clinical partners which include the United Regional Physician Group, Community Healthcare Center, and Clinics of North Texas to consolidate wellness resources for easier access by the health sector and county residents.
As a part of the Community Clinical Health Bridge Project, this website will allow for maximized communication and collaboration between health care professionals, physicians, and their patients. By incorporating this website and site-based technology improvements, patients and their health care teams will find what they need with ease.
The website illustrates one of the goals detailed in the Community Health Improvement Plan to provide access to resources needed for health and well-being. It will provide resources organized into six main categories including Basic Needs and Welfare, Medical Care, Healthy Eating, Family Corner, Mental Health and Substance Use and Active Living.
We are excited to bring this free resource to the community. Be sure to visit our website, LiveWellWichitaCounty.com, for more details and resources to help you improve your life. If you have specific questions about the website, please call Kevin Swanson at 761-7698.

Community BoardThe BOD POD is an Air Displacement
Plethysmograph (ADP) that uses whole body densitometry to
determine body composition (fat vs. lean). Similar in principle to
underwater weighing, the BOD POD measures body mass (weight) using a
very precise scale, and volume by sitting inside the BOD POD.
