DEDICATED TO MY TEAM

‘Age shall not weary them’,

and yet

it does; making us slow

to see . . . and act.

The young

so confident, so learned, so hopeful

will bring,

to the troubles we have left them,

FAITH and Facebook

HOPE and YouTube

CHARITY and Causes.

Perhaps together,

united in frustration

at our low expectations,

They will conquer

what we have left undone.

They may yet

save the world

Response Snapshots:

Crime. Crime. Everywhere you look.

They are hiding. Hiding. Scared.

Together they pirouette around

me, their flesh merging together in

shades of dark, light and even

lighter.

UNFORGOTTENBY TOHBY RIDDLE

10 Word Stories:

The problems in the world, were

fuel to his fire.

The silver tin, a reminder - she had

finally found home.

I felt fangs sink into my skin; a

necessary sacrifice.

One man left. Everyone’s gone.

Then came the harbinger

Deeper Thinking:

‘Impossible birds’ are they

not what scares, disconcerts?

To choose to believe…

Acceptance - help, love, ‘warm’

But how can we see?

We are blind stone, oblivious

of the light

Hiding in darkness

Unaware . . . Alone

Should we remember?

It’s a bad trip, that’s going right in every way. It’s as if I’ve been possessed; my

limbs controlled by invisible strings, by master puppeteers on top of a cat walk

metres above my head. Pairs of stars lay in front of me catching the spotlight

gazing intently at an empty soul.

Home is where the heart is, and here is my heart – shrivelled like a prune. It

resembles my old self and this stage represents the new: hard, resilient, polished.

And when all is said and done – the lights are off, the sound is off. Tranquillity is

pounding in my ears, deafening me.

Peace, or close to it.

LOST GENERATION

This work moved us in interesting ways too…

It simply cannot be,that you and meare part of a revolution. We just keep moving forwardand following your word.

If to reach a destinationwe ask ourselves the questionIs the goal worth the loss?We think about what you said to

usand keep going; after allthere is always a pot of gold at

the end of the rainbow.

So, if we are the lost generation,as you say, without hesitation,it was not us who lost ourselvesBut you who left us, without help;you who have us false idealsyou who left us to find our way home.So forgive us if its not to you we turn
