Sharpsville Steel Fabricators was founded in 1860 at its current location in Sharpsville, Pennsylvania.

In 1990, the focus of the company was shifted to high quality metal containers.

In 1997, the company was purchased by The Reserve Group and the production of Aseptic and Bulk

Chemical Transport containers was relocated to Sharpsville. These containers range in size from 30

to 550 gallons and can be produced to meet UN/DOT, ASME, and NSF International specifications.

In 2001, the production of nonrefillable pressure cylinders was moved from another sister company to

Sharpsville. These cylinders meet DOT, Canadian and European

standards.Sharpsville Container is a ASME Certified Code manufacturing

facility and carries three stamps: U, UM, and R. The

company is able to manufacture custom designed pressure

vessels to suit its customers needs.

UN/DOT Certification can also be obtained for custom designs

or for pre-designed containers. The rigorous testing that these

containers undergo can put your mind at ease when transporting

or storing your hazardous chemicals.

Vertical & Jacketed Tanks

Both standard and custom designed tanks are available to satisfy your process, mixing, and storage

needs. Sizes ranging from 1 gallon up to 10,000 gallons available in 304SS, 316L SS, Hastelloy

Al6X-N, or other exotic alloys. These vessels can be furnished with or without heat transfer surface,

sheathing, and insulation in 304SS.

Tanks are available with many optional features such as bottom head designs. Flat, sloped, dished

and cone are available. Various heat transfer jackets, as well as various supports such as legs, lugs,

skirts, or forklift pads are also available. The material finishes; from 2B mill finish up to 320 grit with

an Ra reading of 10-15 can be supplied. Electropolishing is also available upon request. All vessels

are pickled to remove oils, greases, and weld slag prior to shipment.

ASME or non-ASME code tanks are available upon request, with full certification of welding proce-

dures and materials of construction when requested.

Custom designed tanks can be vertical or horizontal per your requirements or size restraints. Vessels

are limited to a maximum of 120 diameter and an OAH of 250.

Binserts

Binsert is the solution for handling problems associated with dry bulk powders. Our unique design

allows for complete dispensing of powder without bridging. All stainless steel construction maintains

product integrity.

Custom Fabrication

Special designs or containers are welcomed and our engineering department will work closely with

you to meet your specific design requirements.

Vertical Tanks

Vertical tanks are custom made to satisfy your process, mixing,

and storage needs. Built from 304SS and 316L SS, our standardtanks can be easily adapted to meet your dimensional require-

ments. All standard sizes have optional features that allow for

made-to-order applications.

1000mm Series

Our 1000mm series containers are the perfect solution for aseptic

transport, storage, and processing food products. These contain-

ers are ideal for handling highly viscous products such as bever-

age syrups, liquid eggs, fruit purees, pie fillings, and flavorings.

Containers can be used for aseptic or non-aseptic applications.

550mm Series

The 550mm series containers offer the ideal package for a variety

of food applications. The most popular sizes are 30, 57, and 66

gallons, and they can be provided with heat transfer surface areas.

These containers are also available with an ASME code stamp if

you require it.

Dough Troughs

Our dough troughs are used in bakeries and other food service

applications. Sanitary square corner construction allows for easy

cleaning. Enclosed solid bar reinforcement assures sidewall

strength. A variety of standard sizes to meet industry specific

needs are available.

Custom Transport Vessels

Custom designed transport vessels are available in sizes and

materials to meet your specific requirements as to surface finish,

volume, and design. Optional features allow you to tailor your

transport vessel to your specific needs.

Beverage Containers

These containers conform to sanitary requirements of the

National Sanitary Foundation. Constructed of corrosion

resistant stainless steel using GTAW welding process with

complete penetration on all welds. Each container has an oval

opening and fittings with dip tubes.

Standard sizes are 3, 5, 10, and 15 gallons, 304SS or 316L SS,

and electropolishing is available. Containers are ideal for

spray tanks, portable eye-wash stations, add tanks, and prod-

uct transport.

Multi-Purpose Containers

Each container is constructed of corrosion resistant stainless

steel using the GTAW welding process and 100% penetration

on all welds. These containers can be supplied with a variety

of fitting types; npt, tri-clamp, or flanged connections. The

number of fittings can vary up to four and locations are left up

to the customers specific needs. These containers have

several options; material finish, sizes from 3 gallons up to 15

gallons and bottom skirt, stainless steel or rubber.

Cleaning Cans

Sharpsville Containers cleaning cans are ideal for beverage,

brewing, and other related applications. These stainless steel

cleaning cans are sanitary and durable. Sizes range from 2 1/2

gallons up to 15 gallons with several opening choices. Drop-

in or threaded necks with American Sankey tap and pressure

relief devices.

Small Transport Containers

Our family of small transport containers are ideal for a variety of chemical, food, and pharmaceutical

applications. They are available in 304SS or 316L SS and are durable,

reusable, and they maintain product integrity and promote handling safety.They are also available with UN/DOT certification and are designed to be used with closed loop

systems. Containers are deep drawn seamless welded constructed and Teflon coatings are available.

These containers are widely used for transporting high purity and aggressive liquid products.

Large Transport Containers

Our family of large transport containers, up to 1850 liters, are available in 304SS or 316L SS and

many designs are UN approved. These containers are designed for shipping, storing, and processing

liquids and viscous products up to 800,000 centipose. A variety of filling and dispensing options are

available. ASME code stamps for higher pressures are available.

Sharpsville Containers large transport containers are the packaging of choice for use with high purity

products. Other options are Teflon coating and laser welded heating/cooling jackets.

Custom Designed Containers

We welcome the opportunity to design custom packaging containers that will precisely fit your

specific processing and transporting requirements. Choice of filling fittings, gages, dispensing op-

tions, and base designs are open to your specific needs.

Refurbishing Program

We now offer a refurbishing program at Sharpsville Container Corp. We will inspect your current

vessels at our facility and provide a written report on the condition and recommended action. As an

ASME code and UN certified shop, we can repair, remove and alter the design of containers as peryour specific needs. We will also provide services for retesting of UN certified vessels as required.

Sharpsville Container Corporation manufactures non-refillable and refillable cylinders with

service pressures up to 2200 psig. Cylinders are manufactured and 100% tested in accordancewith DOT, TC, and HSE requirements. We supply the traditional, specialty, and medical gas

industries with a complete line of non-refillable, 3E refillable, and custom designed cylinders

Features:

Manufactured in compliance with U.S. Department of Transportation,

Transport Canada, and UKs Health & Safety Executive.

All cylinders are powder coated with color options.

pharmaCeutiCalReactors/Fermentors

Custom designed reactors and fermentors to meet your specific

process requirements ranging in sizes from 10 liters to 10,000

liters. These vessels are available in 304SS, 316L SS, Hastelloy,

and other alloys with dimple jackets for side wall and bottom

heads. All jackets and outside sheathing are generally fabricated

of 304SS. All vessels are available with legs, casters, flanged feet,

stainless steel skirts, or fork lift pads.

Disposable Reactors

A versatile deep drawn container in 304SS or 316L SS, is an ideal

single use vessel for pharmaceutical and biotech applications. The

reactor is provided with a reusable heating mantle and silicone

connections and filters. Additional features are available upon

request.

Biostorage Vessels

Ideal use for storing pharmaceutical and biotech material such asvaccines in secure deep drawn containers. Capable of handling

120 Deg C sterilization and freezing down to -70 Deg C. These

containers are very versatile. They also are available with silicone

connections and filters. Electropolishing is also available.

Transport Vessels

Our multipurpose containers can be used to move smaller volumes

of products throughout your plant. Various types of fittings, sizes,

and materials are available to meet your process needs.
