i  saw  my  dream  in  riot  grrrlsthe  way  they  could  take  back  everything    

that  everyone  said  was  not  theirs

i  saw  my  dream  in  quentin  tarantino  filmsthe  way  a  woman  could  pull  out  a  persons  eyeball  from  its  socket  w/her  bare  hands

i  saw  my  dreams  in  films  and  music  i  saw  my  dreams  in  films  and  music  the  way  they  made  me  feel  validated  and  

worth  something  

and  then  i  got  a  little  dissapointed  be-­cause  when  i  looked  back  at  all  my  

dreams,  i  realized  they  were  all  centered  around  white  people

and  they  weren’t  really  my  dreams,  they  were  someone  else’s  that  I  inherted  cus  I  

just  didn’t  know  any  better

the  importance  of  solidaritybut  the  only  thing  we  have  in  common  is  bio-­

logical  similaritynow  there’s  no  use  in  trying  

imagine  all  the  relationships  that  are  dyingall  the  sisters  that  grow  together  and  all  the  others  who  grow  apart
