Part 1: Am I Good Planner?

The following assessment is designed to help you understand your planning skills. Answer either Yes on No to each of the following Questions.

Part 1 : Am I Good Planner?

According to the author of this first questionnaire, the perfect planner would have answered as follows. If you answered differently, look for reasons that the alternative is more desirable as you read the following concepts.

Part 2 : How well do I set Goals?

This assessment helps you focus on basic aspects of the goal setting processes in your personal life. Our intent is to get you thinking about goal setting as it relates to your life and work.

In the first part of the assessment, we focus on whether your personal Goal Setting is passive or active. Question 1 query your general tendency around “action” and question 4 & 5 select specific examples of pro-action versus reaction. Allocating “resources” for the completion of goals is queried in questions 2 & 3. Question 6 focuses on a cornerstone of effective goal setting: creating goals that are attainable yet challenging. If your score on any of these questions is “3” or less, you should pay particular attention to those areas.
