SCOTT GOLDMAN, Ph.D.

Served as a clinical and performance psychologist in the Athletic Departments of three major universities and currently is the Director of The Performance Psychology Team at The University of Michigan

Ph.D.s in Clinical Psychology and School Psychology.

Advanced training and certification (CC-AASP) in performance and sport psychology

Member of the sport psychology registry for the United States Olympic Committee (USOC)

Provides performance optimization and mental health care in a variety of athletic settings for professional, Olympic, collegiate, semi-professional, and amateur athletes.

Creator of the Athletic Intelligence Quotient (AIQ), an intelligence test that assesses the innate cognitive abilities that are most utilized in attaining, developing, and applying athletic skills, strategies, and tactics currently being used by Olympic, NFL, NBA, MLB, and MLS teams, as well as Power 5 Universities

Co- authored the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) consensus statement regarding the treatment of Student-Athletes.

Recruited by the NCAA to co-author their Best Practices and Guidelines for Understanding and Supporting Student-Athlete Mental Wellness, as well as a chapter in their Mind, Body, & Sport: Understanding and Supporting Student-Athlete Mental Wellness.

Member of the NCAA Mental Health Task Force.

Participates in the NFL/NCAA Mental Health seminar

Participates in the NFL/NCAA Professional Development summit

National and International keynote speaker on performance and professional development

Founding board member of STEP UP!, an award winning bystander intervention program that has been adopted by over 250 universities and colleges

Taught clinical psychology and sport psychology to undergraduate, graduate, and medical students
