Summary Statement: Please provide a brief description for how the analyzed data will impact your Inquiry and Action Planning process.Data from the Nevada School Performance Framework, the CCSD Datalab, ACT Assessments, and Teacher and Administrator Observation will provide context, strengthen the analysis, and explain the performance trends of the student and achievement trends at Durango High School. Specifically, these data sources indicate the most significant positive trend as the steady increase of the graduation rate over the past three years (2015 - 77.6%; 2016 - 82.15%; 2017 - 89.07%; 2018 - 87.84%) and the increase of the overall ACT Composite score for Durango (2016 - 16.3; 2017 - 16.2; 2018 - 17.03). Finally, although the overall gradation rate for the school has risen significantly, the graduation rate for the ELL and Special Education subgroups is significantly lower than any other subgroup.

COMPONENT II: Inquiry Process & Action Plan Design- Priority Need/Goal 1

Based on the CNA, identify all that apply:☑ General Education ☑ FRL ☑ ELL ☑ IEP ☐ Other

Priority Need/Goal 1:Increase enrollment in dual credit courses, AP courses, CTE Level 2 and 3 courses, and Advanced Diploma recipients to increase College and Career Readiness among students. Dual credit courses from 0.1% to 5.0%; Advanced Placement (AP) courses from 35.3% to 40.3%; level 2 and 3 career and technical education programs from 21.8% to 26.8%; and Advanced Diploma from 20.1% to 25.5%.

Root Causes:Dual credit classes have never been offered at Durango High School. AP classes have seen a decrease in enrollment as students chose to take honors classes to maintain a higher gpa for scholarship opportunities. Level 2 and 3 career and technical education programs have seen a decrease in enrollment as classes are stacked in order to accommodate level 1 students. Opportunities for Advanced Diplomas (CPR; ASVAB, ACT Workforce Readiness Keys) were not explicitly offered.

Measurable Objective 1:Increase enrollment in dual credit courses from 0.1% to 5.0% by 2020, as measured by Infinite Campus, and reported on the NSPF.

Measurable Objective 2:Increase enrollment in Advanced Placement (AP) courses from 35.3% to 40.3% by 2020, as measured by Infinite Campus, and reported on the NSPF.

Measurable Objective 3:Increase enrollment in level 2 and 3 career and technical education programs from 21.8% to 26.8% by 2020, as measured by Infinite Campus, and reported on the NSPF.

Measurable Objective 4:Increase the percent of students graduating with an Advanced Diploma from 20.1% to 25.5% by 2020, as measured by Infinite Campus, and reported on the NSPF.
