There are a few things in life of an alpinist, which you should have done. For me this was the ascent of Mount Everest. This was one of my goals which I wanted to reach as a climber and alpinist. Mount Everest is the highest point on earth. Nowhere the air is thinner than on Everest. It is the third Pole. Once to climb the highest mountain of this world has always been an idea in my mind.

On May 18, 2012, at 1.15 pm I reached summit of Everest. Clouds appeared on the sky. The view was limited. I could spot Tibet on the north side. Makalu, which came out of the clouds. I thought about my ascent on Makalu. What a fight it was and how exhausted I was. Although the view was limited I had the feeling to know exactly where I was. It was not new or unfamiliar or strange. I took some pictures with the Sherpas.

I wanted to thank you all for your great support, for being with us, for encouraging us during this expedition. Thank you also for all the congratulations I received after this beautiful success.

standard manufacturing techniques based on seam-sealed waterproof fabrics cannot be utilized.

Thanks to the outdry® patented lamination process, the waterproof/ breathable membrane is directly

bonded to the external layer of the shoe or glove, perfectly sealing any possible water entry point.

outdry® technology is not an additional membrane in the market but a real innovation in waterproof/breatha-

ble footwear and gloves manufacture.

• The external layer and the membrane are a

unique body: no more space in between;

• Water penetration is so blocked with any

weight increase in wet conditions;

water vapor permeability;

• There is no seam sealing tape, then enabling

to exploit 100% of the membrane breathable

• Keep a large volume of dry air between the

skin and the membrane, reducing the risk of

• Evaporative Cooling: enhances ability to tran-

sfer moisture from the skin by spreading the moi-

sture on the carbon surface, then releasing the

moisture through evaporation. The wearer stays

drier and cooler.

• UV Protection: increases the UPF of the fabric

protecting you from damaging sun exposure.

• Odor Resistance: activated carbon adsorbs a

wide range of odors; such as: body odor, fabric

odor, smoking odor. The activated carbon is rene-

wed during washing and drying.
