Within a client, every order is uniquely identified by an order. Each order is assigned to a number range group via its order type. You can assign several order types to the same number range that is to the same number interval. There are two different types of number assignment:
Internal number assignmentThe SAP System automatically assigns a sequential number when an order is created from the number range specified by the user.
External number assignmentYou must specify a number from the allotted number interval when an order is created.
d. Define Checking Control for Order Types
i. Checking Control for Process Order:

Here, it is specified whether a planned order can be converted to a production order or process order using collective conversion in different cases like missing parts, missing PRTs or insufficient capacity. Also, whether an order can be released in such cases is also defined in this customisation parameter.

SAP Netweaver General settings Check Units of Measurement
Purpose: In applications you often have to make calculations with quantities and physical units. Units of measurement are needed for their screen display and for internal conversions.
The international system of units is based on seven basic units of measurement. All other units are derived from these basic units. Units of measurement that measure the same quantity (and can therefore be converted into each other) are included in a dimension. Units of measurement are held centrally in the SAP System for all applications. Several additional units are needed.
