1.– To talk about clothes we use: “to be + wearing”. For example:

Sarah is wearing a yellow T-shirt = Sarah’s wearing a yellow T-shirt.

He is wearing big shoes = He’s wearing big shoes.

EXERCISE ONE: Find the clothes and write.

La palabra “a” o “an” significa UNO, UNA o UN. Sólo puede ir con la ropa

singular. She’s wearing a hat (singular). He’s wearing gloves (plural).

2.– To talk about clothes we can also use:

His socks are black. Sus calcetines son negros.

Her jacket is red. Su chaqueta es roja.

MR. CLEARUP CUIDADO!!!

1.- HIS y HER significan lo mismo, su o sus. La única diferencia es que HIS se

usa cuando el poseedor de la prenda es un hombre y HER cuando es una

mujer.

2.– Usaremos IS o ARE dependiendo si la ropa es singular o plural.

His trousers are blue. Her dress is long.

His cap is red Her hat is white

He ________ wearing a blue

cap. ________ T-shirt is blue

too, and his shorts ________

1.– There are two options to ask “What colour…?”

SINGULAR: What colour is the tracksuit? It’s blue and red.

PLURAL: What colour are your trainers? They are white and black.

What colour is…? What colour are…?
