When using electronic information keep 3 points in mind:

•Indicate why a participant might want to access, read or use them –the benefit•Indicate your view/opinion on the quality and validity of the information•Workout how you can use the resource to encourage participation.

Stage 3: Information Exchange

Purpose: compile a list of useful sources of information for e-moderators.

Task: our aim is to build a list of ourfavorite sources of information on the Internet for e-moderators. Aim to find one source and post the URL in a message.

Respond: pick out at least one source from another participant and comment on your view of it. Suggest how it might be used as a ‘spark’ for contribution or to promote interaction

Task: Post 5 key facts about the e-learning identifying the sources of each one

Respond: Respond on someone whose facts surprise you commenting on how this new information has contributed to your knowledge or perspective

Purpose: To identify key concepts from a given model

Task: Go through the model carefully and list the key concepts with a brief description

Respond: Respond to any 2 posts of the participants who have mentioned different concepts then yours. Suggest an alternative view on any other posts which you like.
