New Church Wheelchair Lift PlanNew Church Wheelchair Lift PlanNew Church Wheelchair Lift Plan

The new lift will be placed to the right of the side entrance nearest Main St., between the downspouts as pictured below. The new wheelchair lift will be enclosed and will service both the lower and upper churches. We currently have $11,590 in the elevator fund. We’re hoping to raise enough funds from this year’s Grand Annual campaign to make the lift a reality. The pictures shown above of the lift entrance, vestibule, and basement level landing, were taken at West Medford Baptist Church.

Annual Witness to Life pilgrimage to Washington, DC. January 23-25, 2020. This is a great opportunity for parish groups to go on pilgrimage together, pray, and March for Life! Registration deadline has been extended. Please visit to life for more details.

T oday’s second reading from the letter of Saint James is four verses that are packed with meaning and encouragement. The words “patient” or “patience” appear four times. The world will tell us that time is running out, so BUY NOW! The

Church is telling us that Jesus will come whether the shopping is done or not, so pa-

tience! This week try to build in five minutes of quiet time each day to remember a

loved one in prayer. That’s a gift we can all use, and it is priceless!

    Sunday Reflection

New Christmas Tradition New Christmas Tradition New Christmas Tradition New Christmas Tradition

    In December, read one

    chapter of the Gospel of

    Luke, each evening.

    There are 24 chapters.

    On Christmas Eve, you will

    have read an entire account

of Jesus’ Life and wake up

    Christmas morning knowing

    who and why we celebrate.

T hank you to all who helped our confirmation students raise funds to build a bed for a child in need. On Saturday, Dec. 7, they completed the mission by building a total of 6 beds. As you can tell from these pictures, they had a lot of fun carrying out this act of kindness!
