ALUMINUM BRACKETSWITH HOLES

Standard already static sized junction sdesigned in collaboration with the Engineering Department of the University of Trento

Universal junctions for wood-wood and wood-cement connections

Pre-drilled with optimum spacings for junctions on wood (nails or screws) and on reinforced concrete (screw-in anchors or chemical dowels)

High expected resistances

Compliant with fire resistance requirements

Easy assembly thanks to the first indentation (for insertion of secondary beam from above)

Quick assembly via the insertion of smooth pins into pre-drilled holes

Can be used on wood with nails, screw bolts or anchoring bolts

Suitable for large structures due to its high capacity

Holes for smooth pins Ø16 mm

Rods 2.176 m long to be cut according to building site needs

Holes for smooth pins Ø12 mm

Coupled brackets can be used

Lateral incisions every 64 mm and indication of the indentation for holes for cutting special order pieces

Use for 90 degree and vertically inclined joints

Aluminum alloy retractable junctions for outdoor and indoor use (serv. cl. 2)

Notes 1 Capacities must be calculated separately each time.

Our rothoengineer technical department is available for consultation.

2 Intended as the minimum recommended base for installation in the secondary beam so that the joint is completely retracted.

3 Capacity values for AluMIDI brackets are calculated assuming a minimum base B,NT = 120 mm for use with pins Ø 12x120 mm (fu,k = 400 N/mm2).

4 Capacity values for Alumaxi brackets are calculated assuming a minimum base B,NT = 160 mm for use with pinsØ 16x160 mm (fu,k = 400 N/mm2).

Note1 Partial nailing is carried out by alternated nailing of each column (see figure)2 Intended as the minimum number of pins to guarantee the capacity specified in the table; a different number of pins can be used depending on the actual load. 3 Intended as the max. length of the pins when BNT,min = 120 mm. Longer pins may be used for larger bases.

Notes1 Nog installation is carried out by alternated placing of the anchors (see figure).2 Intended as the minimum number of smooth pins required to guarantee the capacity specified in the table; a different number of pins can be used according

to the actual load.3 Intended as the max. length of the pins when BNT,min = 120 mm. For larger bases longer pins can be used.4 Values refer to the use of threaded bars made of minimum steel grade = 5.8 and minimum driving depth into concrete = 96 mm; vinylester resin cod. FE400055-FE400056.5 The indication [pc] means the minimum number of threaded bars necessary to insure the capacity specified in the table; entire bracket plugging is possible

(number of nogs = number of holes) but this will not increase its resistance.

Notes6 Values refer to the use of threaded bars made of minimum steel grade = 5.8 and minimum driving depth into concrete = 128 mm; vinylester resin cod. FE400055-FE400056.7 The indication [pc] means the minimum number of threaded bars necessary to insure the capacity specified in the table; the entire bracket can be plugged

(number of nogs = number of holes) but this will not increase its resistance8 Intended as the minimum number of smooth pins required to guarantee the capacity indicated in the table; fewer pins can be used according to the actual load.9 Intended as the max. length of the pins when BNT,min = 160 mm. For larger bases, longer pins may be used.

General principles• The allowable values of zul V are calculated according to DIN 1052:1988.

• The characteristic values of R,k are calculated according to EN 1995:2004.

• A density value of the wooden elements equal to ρk = 350 kg/m3 was used

to make the calculations.

The values provided must be verified by the design engineer who is responsible for the project.

We are not responsible for any printing or typing errors.
