If you want them to truly be timeless though…your shoes will require just a bit of maintenance. !

In this presentation, we’ll cover simple ways to clean your leather

FULL GRAINED LEATHER

• Get a clean, dry cloth and remove excess dirt & grit

• When the excess is removed, dampen the cloth w/ warm water

• Clean the leather gently and avoid soaking

• When drying, stay away from artificial heat

PATENT LEATHER

• This leather is a bit easier to clean (its gloss doesn't allow for most stains to hold)

• Generally, you’ll just need damp cloth and mild soap

• Make sure your cloth is soft; you don’t want to scuff the gloss

SUEDE

• This leather requires a bit more skill & preparation than the others

• Use a (clean) rubber eraser - office supply variety is fine

• Gently “erase” and dirt and grime smudges

• After the erasing, use a special suede brush to smooth fibers down in the same direction
