First blog started in 2004 on free Blogger platform

2006 – identified potential security risk in blog being accessible to public so changed to an open source blogging software which allowed blog to be published on intranet. Using BlogCFC, written in ColdFusion MX.

Very low usage until late 2007 due to subscription settings issue

Usage now gone from 2 hits per day to 200

LIW 2010 presented top 10 subscribers with “Water News Frequent Reader” pens

Created podcasts themselves using a microphone and the free version of software WavePad. Flashback software for screencasts.
