Vaccine Requirement

1. Do I need a COVID-19 vaccine to cruise?

Vaccination requirements vary by port of departure and by age group. Below are the current published requirements for select ports. We are continually adding, monitoring and adjusting information on vaccination requirements as public health conditions evolve. Booked guests will be advised of the latest requirements for their port of departure before sailing.

FOR CRUISES DEPARTING FROM ALL U.S. HOMEPORTS INCLUDING SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO All Royal Caribbean guests age 12 and older must present proof of full COVID-19 vaccination with the final dose of their vaccine administered at least 14 days before sailing. Kids age 5 to 11 who have been vaccinated may present proof of full vaccination and follow the protocols for vaccinated guests.

Each guest’s regimen must include at least two doses of vaccine unless the guest received the single dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine. This guidance is per the U.S. CDC, and no exceptions will be made, even if the guest's resident country has authorized a single-shot regimen for a two dose vaccine. We will continually evaluate these requirements and make updates as local public health standards evolve.

Royal Caribbean will not accept a Certificate of Recovery in lieu of a vaccination record card for guests of vaccine eligible age.

For guests departing from Florida homeports, this vaccine requirement is the policy of several international governments for a cruise ship to enter their waters. We remain in contact with local governments in the ports we visit and will update the policy if advised.

Guests under age 12 who are not vaccinated will complete additional COVID-19 testing requirements depending on the length and departure port of their sailing.

Kids Who Are Turning 12

What if my child is turning 12 years old right before our cruise, or during our cruise, and cannot get vaccinated in time?

Any guest that is age 12 or older on boarding day must be fully vaccinated to sail. If your child’s 12th birthday is too close to boarding day to get fully vaccinated, we can move your cruise date to give you more time, or we can cancel your reservation for a full refund. Unfortunately, we cannot make any exceptions, as our port agreements expect that every vaccine-eligible guest onboard is fully vaccinated. If your child is 11 and turns 12 on Day 2 of the cruise or later, you’re in luck. Your 11 year old will be allowed to board the ship on embarkation day as long as they complete all COVID-19 testing requirements for unvaccinated children.

Crew Vaccination Requirement We require all Royal Caribbean crew members on all ships and at Perfect Day at CocoCay to be fully vaccinated.

FOR CRUISES DEPARTING FROM BRIDGETOWN, BARBADOS

All guests age 12 and older must present proof of full COVID-19 vaccination with the final dose administered at least 14 days before sailing. This is a requirement of Royal Caribbean to sail — guests who are unable to show proof of full vaccination will not be permitted to board. Kids age 5 to 11 who have been vaccinated may present proof of full vaccination and follow Royal Caribbean’s protocols for vaccinated guests.

Due to the requirements of destinations on your Barbados itinerary, we can only accept vaccines that are authorized by the World Health Organization (WHO). Barbados entry requirements may permit other vaccines not on the WHO list, but you will need a WHO vaccine to board the ship.

Each guest’s regimen must include at least two doses of vaccine unless the guest received the single dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine. No exceptions will be made, even if the guest's resident country has authorized a single-shot regimen for a two dose vaccine.

Royal Caribbean will not accept a Certificate of Recovery in lieu of a vaccination record card for guests of vaccine eligible age.

Mixed Vaccines For Barbados itineraries, we will accept a mixed mRNA vaccination series consisting of one dose of Pfizer and one dose of Moderna, as long as the doses were administered at least 28 days apart. Mixed vaccine regimens of brands other than Pfizer and Moderna are not permitted for this itinerary.

2. What if I cannot get vaccinated due to a disability or pre-existing medical condition? What if I amnot vaccinated for religious reasons? What if I have recently recovered from COVID-19 and am notnow eligible to be vaccinated?

Vaccine Accommodation for Medical or Religious Reasons

Please contact our Access Department at (866) 592-7225 or send an email to [email protected] so that our team can guide you on what documents will need to be submitted for consideration. You should contact them as soon as possible and ideally no later than 30 days before your cruise departs. You can also have your local travel agent or International Representative contact us. Should you require it, our fax number is (954) 628-9622.

Please note that vaccine accommodated guests must adhere to all health protocols and travel requirements for unvaccinated guests as required by the cruise line and at the local, state and national level.

Vaccine Accommodation Due to Recent Recovery from COVID-19

For U.S. departures, including San Juan, Puerto Rico, as well as departures from Bridgetown, Barbados, Royal Caribbean does not grant vaccine accommodation for reasons related to recent recovery from COVID-19. Royal Caribbean will not under any circumstance accept a Certificate of Recovery in lieu of proper vaccination records for guests of vaccine eligible age.

3. How long do you consider my vaccine good for? Do I need to get re-vaccinated or get abooster shot to sail?

There is currently no guidance from drug makers or U.S. government agencies that indicates a set expiration date for full vaccination status, or a requirement for a booster in order to retain your full vaccination status.

Royal Caribbean is not requiring any vaccine booster shots at this time, regardless of a guest’s date of vaccination, as long as the guest has completed their full vaccine regimen. If a guest has received a vaccine booster shot it will not interfere with the full vaccination status they obtained when completing their original series.

We will continue to follow the CDC’s guidance on vaccine status and vaccine boosters and will update booked guests and published protocols as situations evolve.

4. What vaccines are accepted?

FOR CRUISES DEPARTING FROM ALL U.S. HOMEPORTS INCLUDING SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO

Royal Caribbean accepts vaccines that are fully approved or authorized for emergency use by the U.S. FDA or the World Health Organization. A guest is considered fully vaccinated 14 days after the required number of doses in their vaccine series have been fully administered (e.g. 2 shots of Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, etc., or 1 shot of Johnson & Johnson).

Mixed Vaccines from Different Manufacturers

We accept a mixed vaccination series consisting of doses from different manufacturers, as long as your vaccine series meets the following requirements:

• Must consist of at least two doses of vaccines that are fully approved or authorized for emergency use bythe U.S. FDA or the World Health Organization.

• The 2 doses must be administered at least 28 days apart.

Page 4: RETURN TO SERVICE FAQS

4

• The final dose must be completed at least 14 days before sailing.

Mixed vaccines may not be accepted at all ports of call. Guests who are vaccinated with a mixed series may not be allowed to go ashore at these ports, or may need to undergo additional testing if they wish to go ashore.

Vaccine Trial Participants

U.S. based AstraZeneca and Novavax clinical trial participants will be considered fully vaccinated 14 days after completing their vaccine series, and must provide required documents that show proof of vaccination.

The above vaccine policies are subject to change as we monitor evolving public health guidance and government regulations.

Kids age 5 to 11 who have been vaccinated may present proof of full vaccination and follow the protocols for vaccinated guests.

Mixed Vaccines from Different Manufacturers

For Barbados itineraries, we will accept a mixed mRNA vaccination series consisting of one dose of Pfizer and one dose of Moderna, as long as the doses were administered at least 28 days apart. Mixed vaccine regimens of brands other than Pfizer and Moderna are not permitted for this itinerary.

5. How far in advance of my cruise do I need to be vaccinated?

In order to be considered fully vaccinated, a guest must have received their last dose in their vaccine series no less than 14 full days before their sail date. The 14-day period starts the day you get your last dose — that’s Day 1. After 14 days pass, you can get onboard on Day 15. For example, if you received your final dose on September 1st, your 14-day countdown starts on September 1st, and you would be permitted to board the ship on September 15th or later.

6. What documents are accepted as proof of vaccination?

Acceptable Proof of Vaccination

In order to present proof of vaccination for our cruises, the guest must show eligible documentation on boarding day at the terminal in the form of the vaccination record issued by either (1) the country’s health authority that administered the vaccination (e.g., U.S. CDC’s Vaccination Record Card) (2) electronic vaccination records where country policy requires the use of electronic documentation via app or health agency site (e.g. UK NHS App, NHS Certificate, Israel Green Pass, EU Digital COVID Certificate), or (3) a letter from the guest’s medical provider that administered the vaccination, which meets the following criteria:

• The Proof of Vaccination must include the name of the vaccinated person matching the registeredcruise guest with date of birth (DoB), the dates of the completed vaccination cycle, the administering physical or medical services provider, and the manufacturer of the vaccine issued.

• The full vaccination cycle must be completed at least 14 days before your sail date (e.g., receivedthe second dose in a two-dose series such as Pfizer or Moderna or a single dose of J&J).

• The vaccine is recognized and approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA)and/or the World Health Organization (WHO).

NOTE: Royal Caribbean will accept a laminated original vaccine card from your country’s health authority as acceptable proof of vaccination, providing it meets all the aforementioned criteria.

Fraudulent Documentation of Vaccination We will record all documentation of vaccination and review it for signs of fraud. We routinely provide documentation of vaccination to immigration, health and port authorities in the ports where we call. Falsifying documentation of vaccination is a crime in the U.S. and may lead to criminal prosecution in the various jurisdictions from where we sail, and in our ports of call. We reserve the right to deny boarding or remove from the ship any guest whom we believe has submitted a falsified documentation of vaccination.

We further reserve the right to bring a civil action against any guest who submits false documentation of vaccination to recover all costs and damages caused by such fraudulent conduct.

• Unvaccinated guests age 2 to 11, regardless of vaccination status, must show a negative PCR COVID-19 test result at the cruise terminal for a test taken no more than 3 days before the day you board the ship. If timed properly, the same PCR test result provided for entry into Barbados can satisfy this requirement.

Be sure to familiarize yourself with your country’s specific requirements prior to traveling. More information on this test will be provided once onboard.

2. Where should I go to get a pre-cruise COVID-19 test? What types of tests are accepted? Where do I submit the results?

Accepted Tests for Guests Sailing from U.S. Ports including San Juan, Puerto Rico

Below are details about the kind of test you’ll need. If you are unclear on test requirements your for your cruise, visit our main COVID-19 testing FAQ to learn more.

Accepted Types of Tests and Results

• There are two common types of diagnostic COVID-19 tests and we accept either kind to satisfy pre-cruise testing requirements.

o A molecular test, also called a PCR test or NAAT test o An antigen test, also called a rapid antigen test

• The test must be supervised by a health professional, such as a doctor, pharmacy technician, public health worker, or telehealth professional. Telehealth testing at home is only accepted for vaccinated guests, and only when it is conducted under live video supervision. Learn more about acceptable telehealth tests including our home test kit

• You must receive a valid results document from your test provider that includes the name of the lab that processed the test, the lab’s CLIA Lab Number or Certification Number, the address of the lab, your name, the date the test was taken, type of test, and your negative result. This can be a printed document, email, or telehealth app notification. Fully handwritten doctor’s notes (such as those written on a prescription pad) will not be accepted. Minimal handwritten components (such as a check mark on a “negative” box) are acceptable as long as the other required information is printed on the document.

Tests We Do Not Accept

• Antibody tests are not accepted, as they do not detect a current infection. • Home test kits that are self-administered at home, and not supervised live by a telehealth

professional, are also not accepted.

Page 9: RETURN TO SERVICE FAQS

9

• Supervised telehealth tests are not accepted for unvaccinated guests – only for vaccinated guests.

More on Abbott Brand Tests

We get a lot of questions about Abbott tests, the most commonly available COVID-19 test brand. Here’s what’s accepted.

• Any Abbott brand test administered on site by a pharmacy technician or other health professional is accepted. This includes the common Abbot ID NOW test administered by many pharmacies. The test provider must provide you with a proper results document (no handwritten notes).

• The Abbott BinaxNow COVID-19 Ag Card Test, which is taken at home and supervised by a telemedicine professional, is accepted. It must be taken under live video supervision. Learn more about our Abbott telehealth home test kit

• The Abbott BinaxNow COVID-19 Antigen Self-Test, if taken at home and not supervised by a telehealth representative, is NOT accepted.

Where to Get Your Test

COVID-19 testing is very common nowadays. Most local pharmacy chains offer it, and most county or state websites can help you find a local public testing site. You can also go to a doctor’s office, diagnostic lab, or telehealth provider to get your test. For sailings that require a pre-cruise test, you will be asked to take the test no more than 2 to 3 days before your sail date, depending on your age and vaccination status. Learn more about how to calculate which days you can take your test.

Make sure that your selected test provider can provide you a valid results document in time for your travel.

Providing Your Results On Boarding Day

You will present your negative test result at the terminal upon boarding. Print out your result if possible for easy access, as you may need to present it at various points. We will also accept a valid results document presented on your phone.

If you get a positive test result on your pre-cruise test, please call us at 1-800-256-6649 so we can rework your cruise plans. Accepted Tests for Guests Sailings from Bridgetown, Barbados

Barbados requires a negative PCR COVID-19 test result for all travelers age 5 and older to fly into the island, regardless of vaccination status. The test must be a standard PCR or a rapid PCR. Antigen tests are not accepted, and nor are antibody tests. Barbados does not accept telehealth home test kits for the entry test, even if the test is supervised by a live telehealth professional. No self testing method is accepted. 3. How do I figure out which days I should get my pre-cruise COVID-19 test? Pre-Cruise Test Window for Guests Sailings from U.S. Ports including San Juan

Vaccinated guests must take their pre-cruise test no more than 2 days before boarding. Unvaccinated kids (11 and under) must take their pre-cruise test no more than 3 days before boarding, and cannot take their pre-cruise test on boarding day. This is because kids are also tested at the terminal before boarding – and according to CDC guidance, unvaccinated guests cannot be tested twice in one day as it may affect the accuracy of the test results.

Page 10: RETURN TO SERVICE FAQS

10

Kids age 5 to 11 who have been vaccinated may present proof of full vaccination and follow the testing protocols and timeframes for vaccinated guests.

When calculating which days you can take your test, be aware that the day you set sail is not counted as one of the days.

How to calculate which days to take your test:

• Vaccinated guests: If you are setting sail on a Saturday, and you need to take the test no more than 2 days before, you can take your test on Thursday or Friday. You could also take it on Saturday morning if necessary – of course, we don’t recommend waiting until the last minute.

• If you are setting sail on a Saturday, and you need to take the test no more than 3 days before, you can take your test on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday – but not Saturday. Unvaccinated guests cannot take their test on boarding day.

To learn more about exactly which types of tests are accepted, visit our Accepted Tests FAQ. Pre-Cruise Test Window for Guests Sailings from Bridgetown, Barbados

Barbados requires a negative PCR COVID-19 test result for all travelers age 5 and older to fly into the island, regardless of vaccination status. The test must be taken within the 3 days before the day you fly into Barbados; the day you fly in is not counted as one of the days. For example, if you are setting sail on a Saturday, you can take your test on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.

NOTE: All guests age 2 and older, regardless of vaccination status, must also show a negative PCR COVID-19 test result at the cruise terminal for a test taken no more than 3 days before the day you board the ship. If timed properly, the same PCR test result provided for entry into Barbados can satisfy this requirement.

4. Can I take a telehealth test at home to satisfy my pre-cruise COVID-19 test requirement? Telehealth Testing for Cruises Departing the U.S. including San Juan, Puerto Rico For fully vaccinated guests as young as 5 who are cruising from U.S. ports, we accept self-administered COVID-19 tests taken under live video supervision.

Telehealth self-tests taken at home must meet these requirements:

• Per U.S. CDC guidance, only vaccinated guests may present self-administered telehealth COVID-19 test results at the terminal to satisfy the pre-cruise testing requirement.

• The test must have Emergency Use Authorization from the U.S. FDA. • The self-test process must happen under live supervision on a video call with a telehealth

representative. • The telehealth provider must issue you a result document that includes all the necessary

information. • International guests sailing from the U.S. are able to complete their testing using telehealth test kits,

providing the kit has been authorized for use by the U.S. FDA. Telehealth test kits obtained internationally that do not meet this requirement will not be accepted. International guests can arrange to have F.D.A.-approved test kits shipped to the U.S. address where they’ll be staying before their cruise and complete their test prior to departing for the cruise terminal using a U.S. PayPal address to complete the purchase.

These telehealth test kits cannot be shipped internationally. However, they are able to be shipped to all U.S. addresses, such as a hotel or other pre-cruise accommodation. International guests can contact the hotel where you will be staying to arrange receipt and storage of your test kit ahead of travel. You can then complete your testing requirement upon arriving in the U.S. and before boarding your cruise. Note that tests kits obtained internationally that have not been authorized for use by the U.S. FDA will not be accepted.

NOTE: These kits do not ship to Puerto Rico.

How Many Tests Should I Purchase?

We strongly recommend purchasing two tests per person just in case you lose or contaminate a part of the test, or have an error during the testing process. However, technically a two or three test pack can be split between members of a traveling party, with one test per person.

By when should I order my kit?

We recommend ordering your test kit at least one full week before you plan to take your test.

If you're in a pinch, see below to understand if your order will arrive in time.

Page 12: RETURN TO SERVICE FAQS

12

These shipping times apply to continental U.S. addresses only. Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska — or shipping over a U.S. federal holiday — will add one business day to shipping timeline. Shipping times are an estimate and are not guaranteed.

Can I use the test kit over a holiday like Thanksgiving Day? Yes, the eMed Guides are available to supervise your test every day of the year, 24 hours a day. Do the kits have an expiration date? The exact expiration date varies depending on the production date for the allotment being shipped at the time of your order. The product description on the online storefront is updated regularly to reflect the most current expiration date for the allotment you are ordering from. Please review the product description prior to placing your order to ensure the current allotment does not expire prior to your intended testing date.

5. What if I can’t find a pre-cruise COVID-19 test, or I don’t get my test results in time? Can you test me at the terminal on boarding day?

Guidance on Pre-Cruise Testing Issues for U.S. Homeports

Page 13: RETURN TO SERVICE FAQS

13

It’s important that both vaccinated guests, and unvaccinated kids, make every effort to get your pre-cruise test within the required timeframe. You must secure this test on your own, at your own expense. Without a negative pre-cruise test result, you will not be permitted to sail. Unvaccinated Kids Without a Test For unvaccinated kids, the timeframe is especially important. The U.S. CDC requires that children get a test in one of the three days before boarding day, as well as taking the complimentary test on boarding day. The CDC also mandates that these two tests cannot happen on the same day, as that may affect the accuracy of the test samples. Therefore, unvaccinated children that show up without a pre-cruise test result taken within the required timeframe, will not be permitted to board, because they will not be able to complete the two tests at the last minute. Vaccinated Guests Without a Test Vaccinated guests only have to take the pre-cruise test, and they can do so no more than 2 days before boarding day, right up until the time they board. Vaccinated guests that have exhausted every option in trying to secure a pre-cruise test, can secure an antigen test performed by mobile providers outside the cruise terminal. However, availability is EXTREMELY LIMITED and by appointment only. The appointment must be scheduled in advance and we cannot guarantee any appointments will be available on a walk up basis. Pricing for this option starts at $99 USD, per person. Guests that are unable to secure a negative pre-cruise test result by this option or any other, will be denied boarding. How to Schedule Pre-Cruise Testing Outside the Terminal Vaccinated guests that need this option should schedule their testing appointment 30 minutes before their selected cruise check-in window. If your desired test time is unavailable, select a time closest after your cruise check-in window. Scheduling your test appointment much earlier than your cruise check-in window does not mean you will be permitted to check-in earlier than scheduled. Results are delivered within 20 minutes via email. If a guest receives a positive result, they will not be permitted to enter the terminal or sail. Appointments for pre-cruise testing outside the terminal open 30 days prior to your sailing date — guests will not be able to book prior to that. To book an appointment for a pre-cruise test outside the terminal, please select the port where your cruise will be departing from. To book an appointment for a pre-cruise test outside the terminal, please select the port where your cruise will be departing from. Port Everglades Cape Liberty Port Canaveral Miami Port of Tampa Port of Galveston San Juan Los Angeles NOTE: Pre-cruise testing outside the terminal in the port of Baltimore is still in development. We will update this page once registration becomes available.

6. I’m traveling to the U.S. from another country for my cruise. What testing requirements should I expect? Will I need a test to get into the country, board the ship or get home?

All international travelers age 2 and older who are entering the U.S. by air are required by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) to obtain a negative viral COVID-19 test result for a test taken no more than 1 day before traveling into the U.S. by air. This requirement is separate from the Royal Caribbean testing requirement to board the ship. For full details on the U.S. testing requirement, please visit the U.S. CDC site.

Page 14: RETURN TO SERVICE FAQS

14

In some cases, you may be able to use your test result for entry into the U.S. to satisfy the boarding requirement, depending on when you traveled into the country ahead of your cruise.

Here are some recommendations for efficiently scheduling your testing to meet the requirements of both the U.S. CDC and Royal Caribbean.

For Fully Vaccinated Guests Day 1 — Take an antigen test in your home country and secure your results before your flight to the U.S. departs. Day 2 — Fly into the U.S. Day 3 — Board your cruise using the same test result you used for entry into the U.S. Note: Vaccinated guests require a negative COVID-19 test result taken no more than 2 days before boarding. If you have any additional days between your test and Boarding Day, you will need to secure a second test in the U.S. prior to boarding.

For Families with Unvaccinated Kids Age 2 to 11 Day 1 — Unvaccinated kids should take an antigen test AND a PCR test in their home country. Antigen results are typically delivered sooner and can be used to satisfy the U.S. CDC entry requirement. The PCR test result, which may take longer, is required to satisfy the Royal Caribbean testing requirement to board the ship on Boarding Day. You should make sure to secure at least the antigen test results for all members of your party before flying. Day 2 — Fly into the U.S. Day 3 — Board your cruise. Adults can use the same test result you used for entry into the U.S. while kids use the PCR test result. Day 4 — Kids may still board on this day using their PCR test result. Vaccinated guests would need to secure a second test in the U.S. prior to boarding, as the two-day timeframe on their original test will have expired.

International Re-Entry Testing Options

Many international travelers will require a negative COVID-19 test result for re-entry into their country of residence. Please see below for options available to you on your sailing.

Be sure to familiarize yourself with your country’s specific requirements prior to scheduling your re-entry test.

For Guests Sailing before January 5, 2022

You can schedule a COVID-19 test onboard prior to debarkation day to complete your International Re-Entry Testing requirement. Details on scheduling your test will be provided once onboard.

For Guests Sailing on or after January 5, 2022

Optional onboard testing to satisfy your International Re-Entry Testing requirement will no longer be available. However, if your country requires a COVID-19 test, you have various ways to complete this testing requirement nearby upon debarking the ship. Note that Royal Caribbean is not affiliated with these providers in any way. Testing costs vary by location and should be paid directly to the provider. These options will be communicated to you once onboard in greater detail.

• At the Terminal — For your convenience, you can take a rapid PCR or antigen COVID-19 test right at the terminal upon debarking the ship and depart. Results will be emailed to you shortly after.

• At the Airport — Guests traveling directly to the airport can schedule their rapid PCR or antigen COVID-19 test to be taken on-site with a test provider at the airport.

• Local Testing Sites — If you’re staying in the area, there are various locations close to the terminal, the airport and hotels in the area where you can complete PCR or antigen COVID-19 testing.

Pricing for these tests varies by test type and location.

In the event a guest tests positive for COVID-19 within 48 hours of debarking the ship, we will offer the following complimentary COVID-19 assistance for associated expenses.

• 10 days of hotel accommodation • Airfare change fees • Meals for the duration of 10 days

If a guest should test positive within 48 hours of sailing, they should contact us immediately at 954-628-9290 or 1 (800) 256-6649.

Travel Requirements & Documents

1. What completed travel documents do I need to board the ship? Are there other important requirements to prepare for boarding day?

As policies continue to evolve with the latest public health guidance, required documents are subject to change at any time. Travel document requirements vary based on your country of citizenship and your port of departure. Be sure to check on your own country’s departure and re-entry requirements before traveling. Booked guests will be advised of the latest requirements for their port of departure before sailing. For Cruises Departing from U.S. Homeports You will need to have the following documents when you arrive to board the ship. Note: If you are sailing from San Juan, Puerto Rico, there are additional document requirements you should be aware of. To learn more, visit Getting Ready to Cruise from San Juan.

Mask Policies 1. Will I have to wear a face mask onboard my cruise, and if so, exactly when and where? Whatcounts as a face mask? Below are current mask policies. We are continually evaluating mask policies as public health standards and government regulations evolve. Booked guests will be advised of the latest requirements for their port of departure before sailing.

NOTICE: Due to the latest public health evaluation, masks are required for all guests, regardless of vaccination status, at all times indoors except while eating or drinking. This includes at venues reserved for vaccinated guests only. Note that this policy is in place for all all sailings departing before January 31, 2022, at which point it will be reevaluated. For cruises departing on or before January 31, 2022, smoking is not permitted in the casino due to the recently modified policy that now requires face coverings at vaccinated-only venues. We will be continually re-evaluating this policy to modify or extend according to the latest public health information.

This guidance is for all guests age 2 and up. Guests under the age of 2 do not need to wear a mask.

Masks are NOT required to be worn: o In open-air areas of the ship, unless you are in a crowded settingo In the pool or any activity where they may become weto In your stateroom when you are with your traveling partyo While visiting our private destination, Perfect Day at CocoCay, unless you are in a crowded settingo By any guest under the age of 2

Masks ARE required to be worn: o While indoors onboard the ship, unless seated and actively eating or drinking

While visiting public ports of call, where local regulations may require them

Mask Standards Your mask should be at least two layers of tight weave fabric with loops that fit over your ears in accordance with health guidelines. The mask should fit your face closely and cover your nose and mouth but allow you to breathe easily. Note that neck gaiters, open chin bandanas and scarves, and face masks with valves do not meet health authority guidelines and will not be permitted.

2. Do I need to wear a face mask while checking in for my cruise?

Different ports of departure have different mask requirements. You should adhere to all local mask requirements as you travel to your cruise check-in, and throughout the boarding process, except in select instances when facial recognition technology is being used to identify you.

3. Will I have to wear a mask at Perfect Day at CocoCay?

Masks are not required at Perfect Day at CocoCay, unless you are in a crowded setting.

4. Do I have to wear a face mask at ports of call?

Page 17: RETURN TO SERVICE FAQS

17

When going into port, you should take care to observe all local mask ordinances that are in place. While on our shore excursions, requirements will vary, but we generally expect that you will be able to remove your mask in outdoor settings where you're able to maintain at least 6 feet (2 meters) of distance between your travel party and others. For tours that include indoor locations, we expect a mask will need to be worn by those guests age 2 and older. We are continually evaluating the mask policy and will make updates as public health standards evolve. 5. If a mask is medically contraindicated because of my disability, who should I contact? Please contact our Access Department at (866) 592-7225 or send an email to [email protected] so that our team can guide you on what documents will need to be submitted for consideration. You should contact them as soon as possible and ideally no later than 30 days before your cruise departs. You can also have your local travel agent or International Representative contact us. Should you require it, our fax number is (954) 628-9622. Mask-accommodated guests will still need to meet local face-covering ordinances at embarkation ports, ports of call, and other destinations outside of Royal Caribbean’s jurisdiction. Boarding Day At the Terminal 1. What happens if I or someone from my traveling party has COVID-19 or communicable disease symptoms at the terminal? Will we be able to board the cruise? Should you have a fever or other symptoms of illness at the terminal, this could result in a denial of boarding for you and those in your travel party. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to monitor your health in the days leading up to the cruise and cancel or change your plans if symptoms of illness should arise. Should you be denied boarding at the pier due to a positive COVID-19 test, or as a result of a secondary health screening, you and your travel party may also be subject to any quarantine regulations or other travel restrictions that are in place locally for COVID-19 positive travelers. 2. If I'm denied boarding at the pier or arrive late, can I board the ship at the next port? No, due to the specific boarding day processes required to evaluate the health of everyone onboard, we cannot have guests join the cruise downline once the sailing has embarked. 3. How long will it take to board the ship considering the new processes and protocols? With staggered arrival appointments, and the ability to complete necessary steps via the Royal Caribbean App before arriving, we don't anticipate that the embarkation process will take much longer than is typically required. 4. Are there any new luggage recommendations or restrictions? No, there are no changes to the luggage process currently. 5. What can I expect if I'm directed to complete secondary screening at the check-in? What happens if I do not pass the secondary screening? A secondary screening may be required in certain circumstances. The guest will be directed to a location where the secondary screening will be conducted in a way that ensures guest privacy. During secondary screenings, trained third-party health care professionals will conduct additional evaluation either in person or virtually via telemedicine technology. Secondary screenings may consist of, but are not limited to, temperature screening(s), an in-depth medical history interview, and vital signs measurements. After conducting the secondary screening, and based on the recommendation of these health care professionals, guests and their travel party may be denied boarding. 6. If I take a flight or public transportation to get to the terminal, will I be required to undergo

Page 18: RETURN TO SERVICE FAQS

18

any additional health screening? No, wellness screenings and requirements do not vary based on the mode of transportation used to arrive at the terminal. 7. As a Suite guest, will I still have a separate check-in area and lounge area available to me at the terminal? This will vary by terminal and depends on the space available. Some floor space in our terminals will need to be used to support certain features of a healthy boarding experience, such as our boarding day test setup. Where possible, we will work to accommodate separate Suite guest boarding amenities, however it may not be possible at some terminals. We thank you for your understanding and look forward to giving our Suite guests the full Royal treatment once onboard. Ship Protocols 1. How is air circulated and filtered onboard? Is the air safe onboard a cruise ship? On Royal Caribbean ships, 100% fresh ocean air is continuously supplied from outside. Intake of air occurs on one side of the ship for cooling and ventilation, then the air is removed via exhaust on the opposite side of the ship. This continual intake of fresh air replaces the air in any space, with a total air change up to 12 times an hour in staterooms, and about 15 changes an hour in large public spaces. Fan coil units in your stateroom and public spaces provide an extra layer of protection, continuously scrubbing the air of pathogens, using a high-grade MERV 13 filter that captures aerosols 1 to 3 microns in size with 90% efficacy — fine enough to filter cold and flu germs and coronavirus. An independent study by the University of Nebraska Medical Center and the National Strategic Research Institute onboard Oasis of the Seas confirmed that cross-contamination of air between adjacent spaces is virtually impossible thanks to this powerful system. 2. Will there be hand sanitizer provided in the stateroom and around the ship? Hand sanitizer stations have always been available throughout the ship, but we've now increased that number by 75%. And we're placing them anywhere you're most likely to use them, near elevators and at exits and entrances to all venues, plus anywhere onboard that doesn't have handwashing stations or restroom sinks in the immediate area. Additionally, a new bottle of hand sanitizer will also be made available in all staterooms. 3. How are you ensuring guests are washing and sanitizing their hands? Hand hygiene onboard has always been a priority for us, as a proven way of helping protect the health and safety of our guests and crew, with numerous hand washing sink stations and hand sanitizer stations located throughout the ship. Now we've increased and enhanced those efforts by increasing the number of Purell sanitizer stations around the ship by 75% and introducing Purell sanitizer wipe stations in high-touch areas. 4. What are your health and sanitization standards on the ship? What guidelines apply and how do you know they are sound? How is the crew trained to implement them effectively? And what are your health and sanitization standards at Perfect Day at CocoCay? In compliance with strict standards set by U.S. Public Health Services (USPHS) and the Vessel Sanitation Program (VSP), our ships have always been maintained using the most rigorous cleaning regimens. Now, with guidance from our Healthy Sail Panel, we've evaluated every element of our cleaning protocols and enhanced those regimens to meet medical-grade standards. All ships are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized prior to every voyage, and consistently and frequently throughout your sailing, with disinfecting cleaning agents and techniques that have been certified by health authorities as effective against SARS-Cov-2 (coronavirus). All chemicals are EPA-certified, alcohol-based, scentless, and safe for the general population.

Page 19: RETURN TO SERVICE FAQS

19

High-traffic and frequently touched areas like elevators, escalators, stairways, and promenades are cleaned every two hours and gangway rails every 20 to 30 minutes during busy times. Staterooms are cleaned daily and only while guests are out of the room, with particular attention paid to frequently used items and surfaces. All stateroom and housekeeping attendants will be continuously trained on the latest sanitization guidelines. We'll ensure cleaning standards are upheld through frequent stateroom inspections using black light technology to show surface wiping efficacy. Crew will have mandatory, ongoing training classes and refreshers that are documented to ensure all the latest protocols are being followed, in compliance with various international regulations, including the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW), and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). At our private destination, Perfect Day at CocoCay, we implement the same standards of enhanced cleaning and sanitization protocols that we've implemented onboard are also in place. Public areas are cleaned frequently and consistently using alcohol-based, scentless, EPA-certified chemicals that are safe for use around the general public. All chemicals used for disinfection are on the EPA's list for use against SARS-CoV-2. Our protocols account for all public spaces, with high-traffic and frequently touched areas cleaned every two hours and handrails every 20 to 30 minutes during busy times. Cabanas are also cleaned and disinfected after each party with EPA-certified chemicals as well as electrostatic foggers to help ensure surface coverage. We'll ensure cleaning standards are upheld through frequent inspections. Crew will have mandatory, ongoing training that is documented to ensure that all the latest protocols are being followed. 5. How are my linens and towels washed to ensure they are sanitized? The temperature of washers and dryers onboard follows the guidance of the U.S. CDC to ensure all laundered goods, including towels, bed linens, and cloth napkins, are fully 6. Will you still require the guest safety muster drill? How will this be conducted safely? Muster drills are an important part of ensuring our guests' safety — and we're excited to introduce an entirely new approach to delivering that information, called Guest Safety Briefing. This patented system streamlines the traditional muster process, making the key elements of the safety drill available right on your mobile device or stateroom TV — including reviewing what to expect, where to go in case of an emergency, and how to properly use a life jacket. After reviewing safety information on your own, you can complete the drill by visiting your assigned assembly station on the ship, where a crew member will verify that all steps have been completed and answer any questions, eliminating the need for a group drill. 7. Are there any venues that are closed onboard? Are there any venues or activities where access depends on your vaccination status? Almost all of our onboard venues or experiences will be operating as our ships return to sea. You may notice protocols in place for your health and safety. Signage will be posted at venues and experiences to guide you. In the interest of public health onboard, we continue to follow U.S. CDC guidance. This includes guidance on facial coverings, as well as guidance to designate some venues onboard as vaccinated-only. To better understand how venues will be set up onboard your ship, you can view details about the restaurants, bars, shows and activities for each ship below. 8. Will room service still be available? Yes, room service will still be available for your convenience, and as an added measure to protect the health and safety of our guests and crew, will feature contactless delivery. Additionally, between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. you can enjoy daily American breakfast delivered to your room free of charge. 9. What services for Suite guests will be available and what will be discontinued?

Page 20: RETURN TO SERVICE FAQS

20

Nearly all of the services our Royal Suite Class guests have come to expect will still be available to them, from priority boarding and upgraded bathroom amenities to Coastal Kitchen access and a Royal Genie for guests in Star tier suites. 10. Where and when will physical distancing be required onboard? How will this be enforced? Physical distancing should be practiced throughout your vacation when in crowded areas. Signage, ground markings and crew safety ambassadors will be posted throughout the ship and terminal to kindly remind guests of distancing and other protocols. Seating in public spaces such as dining venues, theaters and pool decks will be spread out, and elevators will be limited to no more than four guests or one travel party at a time. 11. Are reservations required for dining, and will there be limits on party sizes at your restaurants? Reservations are strongly recommended and easy to make using the Royal Caribbean App once you are onboard. Making a prior reservation ensures you're able to secure a dining time of your choosing, avoids forming lines outside venues and allows for physical distancing. For the safety of all our guests onboard, at this time, a maximum of 8 guests are allowed per table, and guests may only dine with other members of their travel party unless they have a linked reservation. If you’d like to dine with other parties during your cruise, you can easily link your bookings by calling us at 866-562-7625. We are continually evaluating these protocols and will make updates as public health standards evolve. 12. Can I travel with an unvaccinated kid under the age of 12? What are the differences in the cruise experience if my child is unvaccinated? We look forward to welcoming the whole family aboard. Currently, COVID-19 vaccination is recommended, but not required, for children age 11 and under. Teens and tweens age 12 and up must be fully vaccinated to sail. To ensure the healthiest and safest experience for all our guests, our crew and the communities we visit, we’ve worked with leading medical and scientific experts to develop comprehensive protocols. For families with an unvaccinated child, there are a few different protocols to keep in mind. See the at-a-glance chart below, along with links to FAQs that have more specifics. Perfect Day at CocoCay Protocols 1. Where and when will physical distancing be required onshore at Perfect Day at CocoCay? How will this be enforced? For the comfort and safety of our guests, all furniture is spaced out at the pool, dining venues, and other areas on the island. For your convenience, distancing markers, decals, signage, and rope stanchions will be posted throughout venues to provide clear guidance where needed. 2. Do I need to buy a shore excursion or other coordinated activity to go ashore at your private destinations Perfect Day at CocoCay or Labadee, Haiti? No, you don’t need to purchase a tour or activity to visit Perfect Day at CocoCay or Labadee, as these private destinations are closed environments that only guests, crew, and staff members can access. All of our crew onboard and at these destinations are fully vaccinated and tested regularly. 3. How do new policies affect activities, games, entertainment, and other programming onshore at Perfect Day at CocoCay? Are any areas of the island closed? Almost all of your favorite activities are available at Perfect Day at CocoCay, although we have made some adjustments for the health and safety of our guests and crew, such as hosting smaller, more frequent groups

21

for certain games, activities, entertainment, or other programming. South Beach will be closed for the time being when we resume cruising, but other favorite areas such as Thrill Waterpark and Coco Beach Club will be open and ready to welcome you. 4. What protocols are in place for a safe dining experience at Perfect Day at CocoCay? What are the protocols at bars, buffets, and restaurants? Bars and dining venues will be open throughout Perfect Day at CocoCay — although some changes have been made for your safety. All restaurant and bar seating will be arranged to allow for physical distancing, and tables and chairs will be disinfected even more frequently. All island crew members working at dining and drinking venues will wear face masks and gloves at all times. Buffets will now be served to you by island crew members rather than self-service. Ports of Call Protocols 1. How do you decide if it is safe for the ship to visit a destination? We will regularly monitor ports of call on our itineraries, with the intent to minimize the risk to our guests, our crew, and the communities we visit. We will make a determination based on several prerequisites, including the prevalence of COVID-19, access to vaccination and availability of testing at those destinations. 2. What requirements are there for guests who wish to go ashore in ports of call? Will I be required to buy a shore excursion? Can I take an independent tour? Due to ordinances at federal, state, and local levels, as well as ongoing regional public health evaluations, requirements for going ashore vary depending on the port and your vaccination status. See below for details pertaining to specific departure ports. These requirements are subject to change as we continue to evaluate circumstances around the globe, and we will continue to update booked guests of any requirements for their upcoming cruise. Tours Recommended in Port Canaveral, Florida For ships that stop at Port Canaveral, we strongly recommend, but will not require, that families traveling with unvaccinated kids purchase a local tour through Royal Caribbean if they wish to go ashore. Additionally, we recommend the use of face masks when going ashore. No Tours Required at Perfect Day or Labadee Tours or planned activities are not required of any guest who wishes to go ashore at our private destinations, Perfect Day at CocoCay or Labadee, regardless of age or vaccination status.

Requirements for Guests Departing from Bridgetown, Barbados Ports That Do Not Require Tours for Fully Vaccinated Guests In many ports of call, fully vaccinated parties may visit freely or book a shore excursion. Destinations that do not require tours at this time for fully vaccinated guests include St. Kitts, St. Maarten, Antigua, Curacao, Costa Rica, Aruba, Panama, and Colombia. Please note that these ports and requirements are subject to change at any time. Ports that Require Tours for Fully Vaccinated Parties Due to current requirements of your itinerary, all guests on January sailings from Barbados will need to book a tour if they wish to go ashore in certain ports of call, regardless of vaccination status. Please see below information regarding going ashore for each port of call.

We will continue to update booked guests and the information on this page as we know more about this requirement for future sailings. Medical Care & Case Management 1. If a guest or crew member starts feeling unwell during a voyage, what steps are taken? Can you test for SARS-CoV-2 while on the cruise, and if so, how soon do you have results?

Page 23: RETURN TO SERVICE FAQS

23

If any of our guests or crew members ever feel unwell during their sailing, they can be immediately evaluated by medical staff, with an in-stateroom visit or by video tele-consultation. Rapid COVID-19 tests can be conducted right onboard in our medical lab that allows for rapid, accurate onsite PCR testing with results in under an hour, alongside a multitude of other evaluative tests. This is just one capability of our enhanced Medical Center where we've added more doctors and nurses, upgraded equipment, and a dedicated Controlled Care Center where potentially infectious guests or crew can be cared for away from general medical areas. 2. If a guest or crew member tests positive onboard, what is your response plan? In the event any of our guests or crew tests positive for COVID-19 onboard, we have a robust, tiered response plan in place that we've developed with guidance from local authorities and leading public health experts. The tiers increase protocols and vigilance onboard. In partnership with local authorities, Royal Caribbean has developed transport protocols to ensure the ship can return to port and debark all our guests. 3. If a guest is moved to isolation, what care and amenities will be available to them? Guests who test positive for COVID-19 will move to isolation staterooms that are closer to the Medical Center and will enjoy complimentary amenities like Wi-Fi and room service, along with regular visits or tele-consultations with medical staff to monitor their wellness. 4. How is the medical center equipped to handle a possible COVID-19 case? What medical services are offered onboard the ship for the evaluation and treatment of COVID-19? If a guest starts to feel ill, they should report the need for immediate medical attention by phone, to the nurse on duty. Our medical team will evaluate the guest in the comfort and privacy of their stateroom, by an in-person visit or by video tele-consultation and determine if a COVID-19 test is needed. Our onboard medical facilities are prepared to offer robust treatment with rapid PCR testing and results onsite; state-of-the-art equipment enhancements like hospital-grade ventilators with CPAP and BiPAP capabilities; a dedicated Controlled Care Center where infectious guests or crew can be cared for away from general medical areas; and more critical care beds on each ship. 5. Will I need to quarantine or isolate when I return to the U.S. from my cruise? Rules and recommendations on post-travel quarantine vary among U.S. states, localities, schools and workplaces. Before traveling, guests should familiarize themselves with any requirements that may exist so that they may plan accordingly. 6. What should I do if I test positive for COVID-19 after the cruise? If you or a member of your travelling party tests positive for COVID-19 in the 14 days following your cruise, please contact our post cruise customer service team. You should also inform your local health agency. Crew Health & Wellness 1. How are crew member areas and rooms cleaned? Are crew members expected to abide by similar policies as the guests? Will they be vaccinated and wearing personal protective equipment like masks? Do crew living on Perfect Day at CocoCay undergo the same health screenings as crew members onboard? All crew members are responsible for cleaning and maintaining their private rooms while following the same cleaning and sanitization standards put into place for guest staterooms. We have a comprehensive

Where can I find the updated Guest Health, Safety and Conduct Policy and the Refusal to Transport Policy? Do I need to use the Royal Caribbean App to meet new safety policy requirements? What if I don't have a smartphone? We strongly advise that all guests download and use the Royal Caribbean App available for Apple and Android devices. It has been enhanced with features that are essential to a smooth and safe boarding day and cruise. These features include notifications, online check-in, the new online Guest Safety Briefing required of all guests, and our Guest Health, Safety, and Conduct Policy. Some features are available only via the App, including the Guest Health Questionnaire to be completed by all guests 24 hours before sailing. The App offers key functionality to support guest needs throughout the sailing, important sailing details, ship maps, guest to guest chat, event and dining booking, itinerary planning, steps to assure health and safety, and more. We continually deploy additional functionality to the App. While we provide assistance for guests without access to a smartphone and the App, we highly recommend all guests download and use the App immediately after cruise booking to achieve the smoothest experience and avoid possible delays. 5. Are there any health restrictions or pre-existing condition limitations, due to COVID-19, for cruise guests? Certain guests may be at an increased risk of becoming infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus). Guests of any age with certain underlying medical conditions may also be at an increased risk of developing COVID-19. Before booking or sailing on a cruise, please review the latest public health guidance about at-risk populations. All guests should consider their individual risk level for severe illness and make an informed travel decision on that basis. We recommend guests with a higher risk of severe illness consult with their doctor prior to booking or sailing with us.

6. Can I book back-to-back cruises at this time?

Yep! We welcome guests to cruise on as many back-to-back cruises as they wish, including kids of any vaccination status. The travel requirements and health protocols are the same as a single cruise, and back-to-back cruisers will need to meet all those requirements. For subsequent cruises, the "pre-cruise test" requirement is fulfilled by a test between cruises. All guests 2 years of age and older, regardless of vaccination status, are required to take a COVID-19 test producing negative results between each sailing. This test will be arranged by Royal Caribbean at no expense to the guest, as long as your consecutive cruises are less than 3 days apart. Visit Guest Services while onboard to arrange this test ahead of your next cruise. We will continue to evaluate this policy as public health guidance evolves.

7. Will I have to sign a COVID-19 waiver or other legal agreement to board the ship?

In addition to our booking terms or cruise ticket contract — which all guests must accept — guests will be required to acknowledge the risks associated with pathogen transmission during their voyage and on tours or other shoreside experiences at our destinations, as well as agree to follow all of our health and safety policies at all times. Failure to agree to our terms and conditions or accept the requisite health acknowledgments will result in a denial of boarding, and your inability to participate in tours and shoreside experiences.

8. What is the definition of a traveling party?

The term "traveling party" can include guests traveling in the same stateroom or reservation; guests traveling in multiple staterooms or as part of multiple reservations; as well as guests we determine to be legally or socially related or proximate in any way, at any time prior to or during the voyage, for any duration of time. It is important to note that contact tracing may deem you or someone in your traveling party a "close contact" of another guest if you were within 6 feet of someone infected with COVID-19 for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period (for example, three individual 5-minute exposures for a total of 15 minutes in one day). If you are found to meet this contact threshold, certain actions may be required for your safety and the safety of your fellow guests.

9. Are there any new policies or procedures for service animals?

Service dogs will continue to be welcome onboard our ships. Guests continue to be responsible for obtaining all required health documentation for the dog to depart the ship in ports of call and the final destination.

9. How do you enforce new health protocols? What are the consequences of not following newhealth & safety conduct rules?

Our safety ambassadors onboard will enforce Guest Health, Safety, and Conduct Policy as well as our Refusal to Transport Policy. Shoreside, our safety ambassador teams will work with local authorities to enforce both our Guest Health, Safety, and Conduct Policy and any applicable laws. Failure to follow any of our policies or any applicable laws may result in enforcement action, up to and including denial of boarding or removal from our vessels.
