Representatives from the Seven (7) Reserve Components and (1) DANTES representative.

Charter:

To assist in providing access to educational opportunities, including DANTES and Service-specific programs that benefit the Reserve Components.

RCEP Goals

Provide awareness of Reserve Component (RC) Voluntary Education initiatives and concerns to CCME participants;

Identify RC issues relating to entitlements and/or benefits, including the Post 9/11 GI Bill and Tuition Assistance;

Create a common understanding with educational institution representatives of RC service members issues;

Devise and achieve consensus on solutions beneficial to the RC and Education communities;

Identify policy, legislative, and statutory changes to implement lasting solutions, as needed.

issuance of Notice of Basic Eligibility (NOBE,) Reserve Educational Assistance Program (REAP), MGIB-SR, VA inquires, and
