Comparing Internet and text book

Advantage ? The advantages of using the internet is you can find

information easily without searching for it also you can search what ever you want and it will be there. The advantage of using the books are you can search for things easily by looking at the index.

Disadvantage? The disadvantages of the internet is that the

information on Wikipedia might be wrong because anyone can change it and input false information. The disadvantage of the text book is that you have to search for information, you cant get information quickly.

Research Methodology Proposal

A research Proposal is just that it is what you propose to do. First, you need to think what it is you propose or intent to research. The next step is to explain why you would do it.

What you are going to research Why you are going to research this

particular area

Primary and Secondary Research

Primary Research

Primary researches are questionnaires and surveys.

Collecting data You can also use primary research to

create interviews. You can ask quantitive and qualitive

questions.

The results of my surveyPrimary Research

For my primary research I have asked people questions about films. For example; What type of genre do you like?

The response to this was horror, romance , action. I asked 10 people within my family (cousin) and friends. Only those three was said the most. They all like different actors and actress. However will smith was chosen most times. The graph below shows what genre the people I asked like the most.

Secondary Research

You don’t need to start from scratch for secondary research. Secondary research is when you search and find books, newspapers and websites. You just need the data done by others.

Conducting Secondary Research

For my secondary research, I have found out what people think about the film ‘Kick ass’. From what I read most people seems to like the film ‘kick ass’. Some people want more action and some want less. You cant judge a film without watching it or reading reviews. Everyone has different expectations, but the movie can be judged over a trailer. Some people said ‘This is definitely the best movie of 2010 so far, hands down’. This kind of review will get more people too watch the film.

Focus Group

Who is your favourite actor/actress? What genre do you prefer? How long do you want your film to be? What do you want your film to be like? When do you want to release your film?

Why?

Pitch

• For my own film I would book will smith and Rachel Billson because will smith is an interesting actor and he will keep the movie going.

• Will smith recent films were ‘’men in black’’ , ‘’ Men in Black 3’’ , ‘’ I Am Legend’’

• The minimum budget I will start of with is $100 million, if needed I will raise up $400 million . • The equipment I want are too expensive, I would like to hire ; cranes, tripods , movie cameras and lenses.

• The cost of each of the cast will be around $5million (per day) or more.

• I have to book them on a available day. It is really hard to book the actors on the date I want. I would like to make a comedy film.

• I have will smith that will entertain young adults.

• My Target audience will be over 15.

• The film would be called ‘’guess who back’.

• The minimum amount of days I will spend is 6 months and if its not enough I will spend another 6months for my film.

• The reason why I am spending this my time is that my film should be successful.

• I would like to release my film on 25th December 2014 if its done or it will release on 1st January 2015.

• My film has to be in competition with other films.

• There will be one or two film releases on 25th December 2014 so there will be competition.

• The trailer for my movie should convince people to come. • My film will make a lot of money because will smith is in it and most people like will smith.

What is a Bibliography?

The main purpose of a bibliography entry is to give credit to other authors whose work you’ve consulted in your research. Another purpose of a bibliography is to make it easy for curious reader to find the source you’ve used.

Social Media – Facebook

Social media in terms of research is both primary and secondary. For my primary research I posted ‘what is your favourite genre’ and I had a limited amount of likes and comments with same genre.

Social Media -Twitter

For my Primary research I tweeted ‘who is your favour actor and actress’ many people re-tweeted it and most people commented with same actor ‘’will smith’’ this shows how much people like will smith.

Social Media - Youtube

For my primary research I shared a trailer on YouTube below this there was comments and likes and many people liked it and some people commented on it.
