At Reaseheath College we

pride ourselves on putting

our students at the

heart of all we do by

inspiring achievement

and driving ambition,

giving them the best

possible start for a

successful career in

the land-based

industry. We provide

an exciting range of

technical courses in a

supportive and caring

environment.

Our knowledgeable and enthusiastic

staff will be with you throughout your journey to help

you achieve your goal, whether that’s finding

employment or progressing on to a higher level course

at college or university. Last year 97% of our students

achieved their qualification and over 90% progressed

into employment or on to higher level courses.

All of our courses are career focused with every student

now completing a significant work placement as part of

their programme of learning. This valuable experience,

coupled with our strong links with employers, means

that you will leave college with the technical skills and

academic knowledge that the industry wants and needs.

Over recent years we have invested over £50 million

in cutting edge technology and world-class facilities,

with a further £30 million investment planned for the

campus over the next few years. This includes a new

hall of residence for 200 students, a new Agriculture

Technology Centre, Sports Science Academy,

science laboratories and an extended HE Centre

and Employer Hub.

The ‘Reaseheath Experience’ our learners receive is

something many of our former students tell us was the

most enjoyable time of their lives. Our friendly and

welcoming campus regularly hosts sporting events,

evening entertainment and all students are invited to

get involved in our Student Association.

During your time at Reaseheath you will not only

develop knowledge in your chosen area, but build

confidence and life skills in a supported environment.

Our most recent Ofsted Care Standards inspection

graded us Outstanding in all areas, meaning that our

student support and care is amongst the best in the

country. Our higher education quality inspection led by

the Quality Assurance Agency for HE in 2014 was

similarly outstanding.

Read on to find out more about the range of exciting

opportunities available at Reaseheath and please

come and see us at one of our Taster Days or Course

Open Events.

I look forward to welcoming you to Reaseheath soon.

22% of employers would not employ people

without GCSEs.  Not only is it easier to find

employment with GCSEs, but the starting salary

of young people with GCSEs is over £2,000 more

than those without, and the gap is widening.
