This portfolio and its content is developed and

compiled for specific purposes. These are the

following:

To guide and share knowledge and

experiences to the other students who will

undergo field of teaching.

To show to the future educators about the

reality of teaching life.

To inform the essence of being an

effective teacher.

This teaching portfolio is my compilation of all

the learning and teaching I experienced in the

learning environment. It serves as a guide to the

other readers such as educators and students as

well. It emphasizes the appropriate and effective

teaching approaches that can be used in

facilitating learning.

I believe I have been called by God to

I want to teach my students how to live this

PERSONAL EDUCATION PHILOSOPHY

Teaching young minds is a task that cannot

be taken lightly. It is full of challenges,

frustrations, and responsibilities. However, it

is a task that is also full of excitement,

wonder, and joy. I strongly believe that all

children are capable of learning, if they have

the proper motivation and direction from

their teachers. As a teacher I need to aware

of learning, motivation, behavior, and

development theories in order to relate to my

students and push them to reach their full

potential. It is my duty to see that all my

students are being motivated; this is only fair

to the students. They deserve my time and

full attention in regards to their education.

My experience as a practice teacher helps me to realize the

aspects and considerations that the students undertake in their

everyday life. The reality of the teaching learning cycle differs

from what is written in the book. Ive noticed also that as a student of

teaching profession, it is better to involve you rather than listening

and observing them. I encountered different personalities of students

and I cope with it by the use of my own ability, skills and knowledge.

I learned a lot from this experience but it is because of the

guidance of the staffs, head, and teachers of my cooperating school.

They help me to achieve and penetrate all of the knowledge that an

incoming teacher needs to have. In this experience, I also applied

what Ive learned in my field of study and help me to analyze what

method, teaching approaches and strategies that needs to improve
