Department of Value EducationInstitutions of higher education are the cradle where the human and humane values are nurtured, inculcated and

imbibed. Today there is a greater need to impart value education to the young adults to counter the culture of

Faculty Profile

Fr. (Dr.) George Thadathil is the Principal of Salesian College. He has done M.A. in Philosophy, M.Phil. in Christian Studies and Ph.D. (inter-disciplinary with ICPR) from Madras University. He is the founder Director of Salesian Research Institute and Salesian College Publications. He has authored/edited/co-edited over five books to date.

Fr. (Dr.) Nirmol Gomes is the Vice-Principal of Salesian College, Siliguri Campus. He has done M.A in Education from the Pontifical University, Rome and his Ph. D. in Education from the same University. He has also a Degree in Music to his credit from Trinity College, London.

Fr. (Dr.) Joseph Pauria is the Vice-Principal of the Sonada Campus. He is an Assistant Professor and holds Ph. D. in Education. He is the Co-ordinator of the Department of Salesian Studies. He is the editor of SCSPEAKS.
