Tabling for your event can be a great way to draw a big crowd, just make sure you have some outgoing helpers, materials highlighting the event’s details, and a sign-up sheet to gain subscribers. It’s also a good idea to decorate with a tablecloth and something eye-catching, like the poster for the movie that’s screening. And it can never hurt to offer up a freebie, like candy, or, get more creative by basing your giveaway off the movie. For instance, hand out Optimus Prime temporary tattoos to promote a showing of “Transformers: The Last Knight” or poker chips featuring event details for a screening of “The House.”

Place movie posters and event flyers in dining halls, academic buildings, campus bulletin boards, bus stops, student centers and wherever else possible. Visit our website, search for the movie you’re screening, then scroll down on the movie’s detail page to see if materials are available. If they are, you’ll typically find customizable bulletin board posters, Facebook images, flyers, thumbnail images and tickets for downloading. Or, grab high-res photos that are available through your account login!

Don’t forget to have your event posted on the school’s event calendar, as well as on local community event pages – particularly if it’s a family-friendly title.7.
