Vacaville, CA USA Genentech Largest biofermentation plant in the world at the time of construction. The process scope had many huge modules that required rigging, assembly and testing. While the process and hygienic utility piping included all work in Building 6, 8, 9 and the east and west yards, our scope included process, air, gases, CIP, clean steam and condensate, WFI,WRO, AWN. Kinetics scope of work also included receiving, setting and anchoring all process equipment; media prep, media hold, buffer prep, buffer hold, fermenters (including eight 25,000L as well as many skids), WFI modules, CIP skids, pumps, heat exchangers, filters, and WRO stills to name a few. As our scope also included all testing, passivation, insulation and pneumatic tubing, so start up and turning over all 300 TOP systems was crucial in validating the facility.

Largest biofermentation plant in the world at the time of construction.
