The Programme Strategy is structured along the Global Objective and two Strategic Priorities
accompanied by a Priority on Technical Assistance aiming at supporting the successful implementation of
the Programme.

economic development through common interventions, and to facilitate cross-border

Measure 1.2 The aim is to support common cross-border activities supporting sustainable tourism and utilising the existing natural and cultural heritage.
Measure 1.3 The aim is to support common cross-border activities of a smaller scale focusing directly to the interaction of the local population on matters supplementary to economic development
Measure 1.4 The aim is to support small scale interventions which contribute to swift and efficient border crossing procedures.

Lead Partner Principle
Prior to the submission of the proposal...
Financial Lead Partners•The Greek Beneficiaries shall appoint a Greek Lead Beneficiary among themselves. (Greek Lead Partner-GLP)•Equally, the Albanian Beneficiaries shall appoint an Albanian Lead Beneficiary among themselves (Albanian Lead Partner-ALP).
Both Lead Beneficiaries shall ensure a close co-ordination of the implementation of the operation.
Overall Lead Partner (OLP)Either the Greek or the Albanian Lead Beneficiary shall act as the Overall Lead Partner of the cross-border project.
