Purpose of Program Evaluation

•Demonstrate impact on student achievement (closing

achievement gaps)

•Ensure that high quality planning, implementation and

evaluation are part of the district/school improvement process

•Ensure ongoing engagement of multiple stakeholders

•Maximize the coordination, focus and use of local, state and

federal resources

•Provide data to inform future decision-making
