Information at your fingertips

Continuous frame leveling angle on LCD display - when the

leveling function is activated, the LCD screen will automatically

shift and show the angle to ensure the operator is fully aware of

the working conditions.

The boom angle value is available on display LCD screen to

promote precise movements and faster work-cycles for repetitive

tasks.

FNR on Joystick provides maximum control of the machine at your

fingertips. Select the driving direction at the touch of a button while

still keeping a grip on both the steering wheel and the joystick for


improved safety and productivity.

Semi-automatic wheel alignment provides automated assistance to

the operator ensuring the wheels are always aligned when

changing between the three steering modes.

Aux flow control is easily and precisely controlled from the joystick.

Stabilizer detection on ground - Sensor continuously monitors the

pressure to ensure there are no drops/leaks to ensure safe stab

usage at all times.

The new T40140 and T40180 models provide a new level of

confidence…confidence in the machine, in its performance

and safety, and in its robustness. This is achieved by

following and applying the rigorous Bobcat development

standards across all functions on the new models.

Attention to details … improving Quality, Reliability &

Durability

A new generation cooling package ensures a smooth and

stable control of the hydraulic oil temperature and hydraulic

hose life optimization.

Complete protection of the tilt cylinder within the boom head

ensures minimum risk for damage and increased operator

safety.

The integrated boom head design provides the reinforcement to

handle heavy lifting while also providing the added peace-of-

mind when operating from a man platform.

New generation wear pads are installed (PF2), as well as larger

bolts and larger steel inserts to benefit from increased friction

coefficient.

Safe and smooth management of overspeed ensures maximum

durability and uptime.

The battery is located in engine basket for easy access. It is

controlled via electric switch and ensures that the battery is not

accidentally left connected overnight.


The machines offer improved serviceability: the active monitoring

of machine systems with real-time information provided for

diagnostics

Safety – LLMI, Automatic Stab Detector and Control

Active diagnostics of the hydraulic main valve monitors three critical parameters (spool position,

voltage control, and sensor monitoring). The system ensures that in case of hydraulic failure the

machine remains within safe limits.

Light indicators on the remote control show any issues related to hydraulics and the safe operation

on the machine (hyd movements, LMI, Stabs, etc.).

Stabilizer control is allowed if boom position is safe (retracted or boom angle low).

When we design a high-reach machine, we believe it should

be a high-reach machine…without limitations! The efficient

design of the T40180 provides top-class stability ensuring

minimal loss of lift height and capacity when operating on

tires.

Also, with a top speed of 30km/h, the new models can

quickly move between locations, cutting down on any travel

times. The addition of safe and smooth over-speed control

ensures maximum transmission durability and performance.

Visibility

Rounded front shape and optimized ROPS/FOPS protection

ensures a combination of maximum safety and best visibility.

Compactness = maneuverability

Compact stabilizers - The easy-to-use compact stabilizers ensure

that the full capabilities of the T40180 can be used in the most

confined working areas.

Side Shift

The unique integrated frame leveling and side shift system works

independently of the main frame to provide +- 4o bank-angle on

tyres and up to +- 12 o angle on stabilizers. The system ensures

maximum flexibility and up to a total of +-600mm side shift at full

extension.

Maintenance

Improved serviceability: active monitoring of machine systems with

Compatibility of Man Platform on old and new models

The new man platforms are designed specifically for the new T40140 and T40180 models and will

provide benefits in both capacity and cost.

The new man platforms are not compatible for use on the old T40140 and T40170 models.

The previous man platform is compatible and certified for use on the new T40140 and T40180

models. However, due to improvements in the electronic controls this previous range of man

platforms it is required to order a Service Kit and a new Remote Control to ensure compatibility.
