• Begin lace chart and work for 35 reps or until desired length is reached (if more length is desired, more yarn will be needed)• Do not bind off, weave waste yarn through sts and set aside

Border (make 2 alike)• CO 8 sts• Knit 2 rows• Work lace border pattern for 14 reps• Knit 2 rows• BO loosely knitwise

Finishing• Unzip provisional CO edge and put sts on circular needle• With other circular needle, pick up 74 sts along straight edge of lace border• With RS facing and using spare needle, 3-needle bind off border to body of shawl• Repeat for opposite end• Weave in all loose ends with tapestry needle• Block well
