Materials:• 3 Hanks Cascade Yarns Sunseeker (3.5oz/100g ea approx. 237yds/217m, 47% Cotton, 48% Acrylic, 5% Metallic Yarn) in #12 Dill• 2 Pairs Size US 6 (4mm) 24” Circular Knitting Needles• Spare Size US 6 (4mm) knitting needle• Tapestry Needle• Size G Crochet Hook• Waste Yarn

Gauge:• 17 sts and 23 rows/4” in lace pattern, blocked

Approximate Finished Size:• 18” x 72” blocked

Lace Pattern:• Row 1: k2, *k1, yo, k3, sk2p, k3, yo* k2• Row 2, 4, 6, 8 and 9: k2, purl to last 2 sts, k2• Row 3: k2, *k2, yo, k2, sk2p, k2, yo, k1* k2• Row 5: k2, *k3, yo, k1, sk2p, k1, yo, k2* k2• Row 7: k2, *k4, yo, sk2p, yo, k3* k2• Row 10: knit• Repeat rows 1-10 for lace pattern

Lace Border Pattern:• Row 1 (RS): k3, [yo twice, k2tog] twice, k1 – 10 sts• Row 2 (WS): k3, p1, k2, p1, k3• Row 3 and 4: k10• Row 5: k3, [yo twice, k2tog] three times, k1 – 13 sts• Row 6: k3, p1, [k2, p1] twice, k3• Row 7, 8 and 9: k13• Row 10: bind off 5 sts, k7 – 8 sts• Repeat rows 1-10 for border pattern

• Begin lace chart and work for 35 reps or until desired length is reached (if more length is desired, more yarn will be needed)• Do not bind off, weave waste yarn through sts and set aside

Border (make 2 alike)• CO 8 sts• Knit 2 rows• Work lace border pattern for 14 reps• Knit 2 rows• BO loosely knitwise

Finishing• Unzip provisional CO edge and put sts on circular needle• With other circular needle, pick up 74 sts along straight edge of lace border• With RS facing and using spare needle, 3-needle bind off border to body of shawl• Repeat for opposite end• Weave in all loose ends with tapestry needle• Block well
