Old Fern Lace Pattern (Mult 12 + 1)

last repeat sl 1, K1, psso instead of K3.

Row 2: And all even numbered rows: Purl.

Cast on 104 sts.

Knit 5 rows.

Next Row: K2 tog across. (52 sts)

Work Vertical Eyelet Pattern for 8” (approx.) ending Row #2, decreasing 1 st on last row to 51 sts.

Change to Old Fern Pattern with set up row as follows:

Set Up Row: K1, place marker for g-st edge, work Row 1 of Old Fern Lace Pattern, PM, K1 for g-st edge.

Continue in pattern as established and always knit the first and last edge sts. Work until piece measures 36” from

the beginning.

Repeat for other half.

Finishing

Weave together with Kitchener Stitch. Weave in all ends.

Moisten and pin block to measurements, letting dry completely.
