Teacher Scenario #1 - Tom

• 5th grade teacher/6th grade math/Algebra I

• Continuing Contract in 4th year

• Positive, personable

• End of third year, a little slip in instructional planning and classroom management

Supervision and Evaluation Timeline for CC Teacher

• Within 30 days of beginning of contract: Professional Growth Conference and Plan

• September – June: Ongoing informal observations, ongoing professional/coaching interactions, PGP review and refinement

• June 15: PGP review conference held and documented • Currently, if a continuing contract teacher is not meeting

a standard(s), he/she goes back onto the formal evaluation cycle and will need to receive a Mid-Year Report (signed first by Associate Superintendent) by February 8.
