Dines Green Covid-19 Time Capsule!

As a whole school, we are creating a ‘Covid-19 Time Capsule’ to remember this period of unprecedented change. We would like every child in the school to contribute to the time capsule so that we can remember what we went through together. Each year group will be contributing something different. In Year 4, we would like you to write about how life has changed for everyone during lockdown.Here are some ideas of what to include:

Details about social distancing, not being able to go out and see your friends and family, how shopping has changed, schools being closed, many people not at work, the weekly clap for the NHS etc.

Boxing up You can choose how long you want this piece of writing to be and you can draw a picture to be included. You could even include some pictures from the internet or even of yourself and your family to support your writing. Remember to label what your pictures show.

It would be great if as many of you as possible could contribute to this. This is your chance to be a part of Dines Green History!

Please send your work to me via ClassDojo or the school office so that they can be printed out next week and added to the time capsule.

Mini Maths: Complete the Mini Maths sheet

daily. ----------------------------------------------------We have been using the distributive law to multiply 2 and 3 digit numbers by 1 digit so far this year. E.g. 24 x 3 = 20 x 3 + 4 x 3 = 60 + 12 = 72

This week you will be introduced to the formal method of multiplication.
