English This week we will be writing a re-count based on the video ‘Catch

It’. You will either re-tell the story

through a narrator (3rd person) or through the eyes of the meerkats

or vulture.

Task: Create a short character description about the meerkats. You may choose to use the sheet on the next page or list ideas or write a paragraph. EXT: Describe the vulture. Then explain/list how the characters (meerkats and vulture) are similar and different. Challenge: Write a sentence using a place fronted adverbial. This could be by editing a sentence to say where on your characters body something is.

Top Tips:

Try this with an adult Socks:

- You may choose to use old socks; they don’t have to be fluffy

- You may choose any colours. Your dog does not need to be white and brown

Stuffing: - If you don’t have stuffing

accessible, you could use; stuffing from an old cushion, tissue, cotton wool, socks, old material etc.

Eyes:- You may choose to use
