    MathematicsThe study of mathematics is a common human activity, increasing in importance in our technological world. A greater proficiency in using mathematics increases opportunities available to individuals. We aim for our students to become confident mathematical thinkers who have a positive attitude toward mathematics and have secure knowledge and skills. Students develop their understanding of number, measurement, algebra, geometry, probability and data to provide a secure foundation on which to build. Students work with appropriate materials, tools and contexts when constructing meaning about new mathematical ideas.
