FOUNDATION AND PAVING NOTES:
1. A 6 MIL POLYETHYLENE BARRIER SHALL BE INSTALLED, PRIOR TO PLACINGREINFORCEMENT OR CONCRETE, AFTER APPROVAL OF PREPARED EARTHWORK.
2. CONCRETE SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH OF 3,000 PSI.
3. REINFORCING STEEL SHALL BE GRADE 60 DEFORMED BARS CONFORMING TO ASTM A-165.
4. WELDED STEEL MESH SHALL CONFORM TO ASTM A-185.
5. ALL REINFORCING RODS SHALL BE BENT AROUND ALL CORNERS A MINIMUM OF 24".
6. REMOVE TOP 24" OF VEGETATION, DELETERIOUS MATERIAL AND TOPSOIL FROM AREA TORECEIVE BUILDING AND DOWN TO 18" BELOW PARKING AREAS. REPLACE EXCAVATEDMATERIAL WITH SELECT FILL AND COMPACT TO 95% STANDARD PROCTOR DENSITY.BUILDING PAD FINAL ELEVATION TO BE 6" ABOVE INITIAL GRADE.
7. MAINTAIN UNIFORM MOISTURE CONDITIONS IN THE EXPOSED SUB-GRADE SOILS PRIOR TOCONSTRUCTION OF FLOOR SLAB. EXPOSED SUB-GRADE SOILS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWEDTO DRY OUT OR BECOME WET DURING CONSTRUCTION.
