HIV AWARENESS EDUCATION

Education is the most important thing in HIV- AIDS. There's a high percentage of people around the world that don't know what's HIV AIDS how you can get infected. My fundraiser is to help educate others on this deadly disease that's taking over a lot of lives in cluding mine. At the age of 20 I was diagnosed with this infection. Ever since my life has changed. I thought I was going to die due to the lack of educatio n Ihad. I did not know what HIV was or how it was transmitted. I was very venerable at the time my dad had past away my mom no where to be found I was abandon as a baby from my mother. I was homeless at the time. I met the father of my children he was 46 years old I was 20 years old. I was so young I did not know he was HIV-AIDS positive I lived with this man for 8 years of my life. I got pregnant to my first child and I still did not know he was sick. I didn't even know it. He was so handsome no blemishes no disease in his face I couldn 't tell. this disease has no face no figure. It lives inside hiding. at the time I found out of my HIV when I got pregnant to my second chi ld thank god my son and daughter are negative. This man slept next to me knowing he was sick with HIV-AIDS for 10 years before he was with me and did not tell me anything him knowing I was at high risk with both of my pregnancy's and they are his children the only children t his man has in the united states. Where is the love the feelings the pain the suffering the guilt he did not have any knowing I was sick most of the time at high risk struggling 20 years old a baby I still had a life to live no emotions no nothing cold hearted man. I could of put this man in jail for 3rd deegree murder me and my 2 children but I chose not to because I wanted my kids to meet their father and I did not want them to suffer in the long run but not only that now I have all other sickness that came along with this deadly disease. I live my life in pain all day long with bone cancer, atheritis, fibromyalgia, high blood pressure, Adhd, asthma, Copd, bipolar disorder, migraines, pancrititis, gastritis and much much more. For 5 years of the doctors testing. I was afraid for my kids. I found out I was HIV aids positive because I was getting symptoms like diarrehea , stomach pains I was not feeling so good would get sick all the time for no reason. my immune system was very low. As the time went by I got into classes, counsel programs and other support programs They help me get educated and was there for me as a family. my goal is to help others know what HIV is and help inspire children teens adults to help stop HIV AIDS by staying protected and knowing what I went through. Also to stop others from bulling people that have this disease. we are no different then no one we have the same blood the same life but most importantly we have feelings as well. you will not get HIV if you hug someone if you drink from a cup if you hold someone and tell them you love them HIV is already difficult for us to live with on a daily bases let alone the Judgemen t's and criticsfrom others we are human as well. please help me with this fundraiser the money will go to travel expenses, brochures, food, office supplie's, a location, employers, workshop stations, donations, arts, crafts, materials, trips, fundraiser, events, banquets, pay expenses, catering, and HIV funds.
