All the government and non-government processes are getting automated by the use of software and web technologies.

Being IT students it was an urge to be a part of this development and contribute for the welfare of the society.

We have selected Police administration for our work because it’s a vital department for any nation’s internal affairs and it has not yet been worked upon in this field.

Our main motivations in this section were the various hindrances, slow working ,more paper work,less interactivity among normal citizens and police interface also among the police department as well.

Objective of the project is to produce an automated ,interactive and fast website which provide an easy and interactive interface through which a normal citizen could interact not only with the police department but also with the non police but concerning objects like detective.

This site would be an easy and mobile approach of filling an fir, applying for various licenses, challans, etc .

This site would also provide an end for interacting with decision makers and effective personals like session judges, lawyers, detectives .

Maintain a centralized database to provide information which can be accessed by the administratior , police officer, citizens, detective and cybercafé owners.

Classification of the users according to their role. Users can manage their profile. Chat/Mail/SMS services (preferably multilingual) are provided. Users can view details of their case in any particular location. Local language support.

The citizens can provide information about their maids and tenants to the local police station through the website..

When a complaint is made it undergoes various processes like FIR, Charge Sheet, Property Seizure, court disposal etc all these activities are performed by a PS.

Sharing of case details with PS in other states.

Communication between officers through chat, polls.

Forums for free guidance from lawyers.

Form filling and Verification of tenants/maids .

Maintaining criminal records, wanted and missing people.

The magistrate will be able to access the case details and provide/deny the arrest warrant.

Graphical analyses of crime .

Citizens will be able to apply for various licenses and will be notified to the applicant via SMS and Mail.

Secured registration of citizens, which will be cross checked by the police officer of that area.

Conversion to various languages.

Project in last six months:The project so far had been carried

out contains the research for scope of e-Cops in India.

The survey of different websites shows that very of them are fully dynamically functioned .

We had performed the initial stages of the project like determining the platform to execute project codes ,database concerning figures (ER diagram, Schema diagram).
