If we focus on the Secondary School, we are about:-40 teachers.-300 students.

Low socioeconomic situation

Children of migrant workers who came to work at the footwear industry and at the service sector

Many cases of dysfunctional family-background and with attitude problems

SINCE LAST SCHOOL YEAR WE HAVE BEEN WORKING ON:

PBL (Project based learning):

Learning is initiated by a problem/situation Problems are based on complex real-world situations Students identify, find and use appropiate resources to solve the

problem Students work in permanent groups (Coop. Learning) Learning is active, integrated, motivating and connected to real life

ICT support: Blended Learning Flipped classroom

Service–Learning projects: These projects balance formal instruction with the opportunity to

serve in the community. It properly connects the curriculum with the real life lessons that come thtrough service.

To achieve our goals and work on a interdisciplinary way, we have several common themes on which all teachers are working together with our students:

1st. Course: Japan, a different culture?

2nd. Course: Health, a project for the future. MEC: CEAM

3th. Course: Erasmus+ KA2: Blend IT MEC: Project for the conversion of abandoned villages.

We are also involved in an Erasmus+ KA1: Learning to Teach.

Important to say that our students volunteer: Mediation group TEI Radio station.
