Pre-Primary “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” -Benjamin Franklin The new session for Prep began on 2 nd April 2019 and for Nursery on 3 rd April. Children are happy and have adjusted well to the routine of school. Looks of “I can’t do it” are turning into looks of “ I did it!” It is very rewarding for us teachers to witness this transition.

Pre-Primary Parent Orientation Programme

To welcome the parents of new children into the Cambridge fraternity, an Orientation Programme was held on 6th April 2019 wherein parents were apprised of curricular and co-curricular activities of the school.

A series of activities were planned to make the learning process an enjoyable and for the little ones.

Earth Day The earth is what we all have in common.

The little ones were encouraged to do their bit towards saving the environment by saving water, paper and electricity! They did crushed paper printing on the cutout of the earth.

Red Colour Day

‘Red Day’ celebration was a wonderful learning activity which helped children understand the concept of primary colours. A number of craft activities were conducted like making red flowers , apples by pasting activity. To develop the cognitive aspect of the child a game was conducted where amongst a number of different coloured objects ,they had to run with the red coloured ones.

Nature Walk

Nature Walk is an excellent way to stimulate a child’s appreciation for the surroundings. The Nature Walk on 17th May was a learning

experience for the little ones as they learnt to identify the Mango, Gulmohar, Neem and Peepal trees in the school compound.

Blue Colour Day

The objective of celebrating “blue day” was not only to re-inforce the colour blue but develop fine motor skills by various craft activities like tear and paste, painting. Also to develop confidence and speaking skills a show and tell activity on blue day was conducted.
