What is the purpose of Water Baptism? Water Baptism is a command of the Lord Jesus Christ (Mark 16:16). It is an outward act by which we publicly declare that we have repented of our sins and have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as our Saviour. Water Baptism is symbolic - it is an act which portrays the fact that by faith we have identified ourselves with Christ in His death (we are buried under the water) and in His resurrection (we are raised out of the water). What is the Process? Step 1 - Complete and return the GET CONNECTED card and register at the Welcome Centre.
