PRESS RELEASE Fespa Digital 2015 Hall 6 – Stand 75
Antalis LFP Coala range goes from strength to
strength with 60 new products
April, 2015 – Antalis, the leading European merchant of paper, visual communication and packaging solutions, is broadening its flagship visual communications Coala range with a wealth of new laminates, wallpapers and easy-‐apply substrates. The extended range will be presented at Fespa 2015, Europe’s premier Digital Wide Format Printing event, in Cologne from May 18 to 22, and responds to growing customer demand for products adapted to different surfaces in a variety of textures and finishes and suitable for interior design.
Coala: a growing brand in line with market trends The Coala range is a true success story as it has seen steady growth since its launch in 2012, largely contributing to the 10% growth registered by Antalis today on the visual communications sector. After introducing a comprehensive selection of Coala display and presentation systems at Fespa 2014, Antalis is now adding a large number of speciality products for a new generation of customer requirements including:
o media for window, floor and wall graphics, with options for outdoor applications which can withstand adverse weather conditions
o textured surfaces with a brushed metal, canvas or linen-‐like finish to protect and decorate images
o additional features such as anti-‐graffiti, anti-‐scratch, high-‐gloss, dry-‐erase and chalkboard finishes.
o easy-‐apply substrates that that can be printed, applied and removed directly by the end user without the help of a professional
o wallpapers for personalised decoration including non-‐woven coated and uncoated wallpapers, pre-‐pasted paper, self-‐adhesive papers as well as embossing and fibre glass options.
“According to the FESPA Print Census, wallpaper and interiors now account for 66% of wide format business and our new and improved Coala range very clearly taps into that market trend,” commented Nicolas Coupry, Visual Communications Product Manager at Antalis International (or local contact). “Customised, visually-‐attractive applications that reflect a certain personality or brand
image are the order of the day and we are now in a position to offer the right product to match any customer brief, no matter how broad or niche.” Fespa visitors can discover the extended Coala range and innovative applications on the Antalis stand (Hall 6, stand n°S75). A wide selection of swatches and samples of the new substrates will also be available for customers.
