Zechariah had an interesting book about the Fire Station and we were able to recall some of the things that we

have been learning about the fireman / firefighter

Acelin, Alwyn & Leo put their vehicles on the stool to highlight their similarities and differences.

Then they demonstrated how fast their vehicles can move!

that it can be used both on land and on sea.

Jasher had a bottle of slime… he took some out to show his friends how the slime can be played.

Mass Activity

The children’s listening skills and teamwork were tested

as they sought to follow the instructions given and complete the task quickly.

Forming a line/circle in their colour groups!

Pretending to be marching soldiers! Onward we go!


Individual Classes

Learning to take off on two feet into the air and then land on both,

with knees slightly bent when landing.

Taking a step up the block…

Walking to the end and jump off!


Increasing level of difficulty: stepping up the block without touching the block with their hands.

Learning to maintain their balance throughout the movement.

Stepping over a gap…


An increase in confidence is observed as the children attempted the action and succeed!

A singing game nursery rhyme where one person plays the role of a farmer.

And as the song progresses, others will be called to join the farmer, as wife, dog, cat, rat and… cheese!


“The cheese stands alone…”

This is another familiar nursery rhyme about a farmer!

A farmer who had a dog named Bingo.

The challenge for this song wasn’t the singing but rather

to keep up to the fast-changing dance moves.
