Title Outline
Student ProfileHi everyone!!!
My name is Joan Quiocson Arpon, I live in Pulot
Center Sofronio Española, Palawan. I’m was

Bachelor of Elementary Education. I’m a simple person, joker, friendly. My favorite foods are
macaroni salad, adobo, etc. I like too travel in
Europe Country someday...<3
What is Educational Technology?
Educational technology is the considered implementation of appropriate tools, techniques, or processes that facilitate the application of senses, memory and cognition to enhance teaching practices and improve learning outcomes.
> sometimes termed EdTech, is the area of technology that deals with facilitating e-learning, which is the learning and improving performance by creating, using and managing appropriate technological processes and resources.
> is whatever stuff you need to use to support the practice of effective teaching and learning. > is the study and ethical practice of facilitating learning and improving performance by creating, using, and managing appropriate technological processes and resources.
Technology contributes much to the improvement of the teaching learning process and to the humanization of life. It is indeed a blessing , but when not used properly, it becomes a detriment to instruction and human progress and development.
Technology is made for man and not man for technology. It is made for the teacher and not the teacher for technology. This means that technology is meant to serve man in all aspects of life including instruction. It is man, and in the context of the classroom, the teacher, who determines how technology ought to be used in order to reap the maximum benefits that come along with technology.
Technology: Boon or Bane
“A plan that emphasizes the parts may pay the cost of
failing to consider the whole and plan that emphasizes the whole must pay to cost of failing to get down to the real depth with respect to the parts.
-C. West Churchman
Instruction begins with the definition of instructional objectives that consider the student’s needs, interest and readiness.
The use of learning materials, equipment and facilities necessities assigning the appropriate personnel to assist the teacher and defining the role of any personnel involved in the preparation, setting and returning of these learning resources.

What Technology
Educational technology is “a complex, integrated process involving people, procedures, ideas, devices and organization for analyzing problems and devising, implementing, evaluating and managing solution to those problems, involved in all aspects of human learning.”
It is also helping a lot in life of the people around the world.
Based from in the definition of Educational Technology
Whether used form the traditional or constructivist point of view, when used effectively, research indicates that technology not only increases students learning, understanding, and achievement but also augments, motivation to learn, encourages collaboration leaning and supports the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
The Roles of Technology in learning
As tools support knowledge construction: for representing learners’ ideas, understandings and beliefs for producing organized, multimedia knowledge bases by learners.
As information vehicles for exploring knowledge to support learning - by –constructing: for accessing needed information for comparing perspectives, beliefs and world views.
Designing ,planning, producing, constructing.
checking, hypothesizing, reviewing, collaborating.
Comparing, organizing, structuring, finding.
Implementing, carrying, executing.
Interpreting, summarising, explaining. Comparing.
Recognizing, listing, describing, indentifying.
New Bloom’s Taxonomy
Bloom’s Taxonomy providesan importantframe work for teachers to use to focuson higherorder thinking. By providing ahierarchy of levels, this taxonomy can assist teachersin designing performancetasks, crafting questions for conferring with students, and providing feedback on studentwork.
Bloom’s Taxonomy can be used across grade levels and content areas. By using Bloom’s Taxonomy in the classroom, teachers can assess students on multiple learning outcomes that are aligned to local, state, and national standards and objectives.
Within each level of the taxonomy, there are various tasks that move students through the thought process.
In order for teachers to develop lesson plans that integrate Bloom’s Taxonomy, they write their lessons in the language that focuses on each level.
Cone of Experiences
The Cone of Experience is presented in its inverted form such that the base is broader than its apex. It is made up of eleven bands which are arranged in an increasing degree of abstractions as one move from the base to the apex.
>It is a visual analogy which is used as a guide by teachers in choosing what, why and how much instructional material they should us to provoke learning with the most satisfying results.
Perhaps the Cone of Experience has already helped to remind you of some important ideas about communication, learning, and concept development.
Yes will understand that the cone classifies instructional messages only interms of greater or lesser concreteness and abstractness.
Learning through Educational Technology II
In Educational Technology 2 for me it is involve the deeper understanding of the computer skills. It gives us a better comprehension of how technology is being integrated to the teaching and learning process which could make the learning more fun and interesting for the students and for the teachers as well.
John Hawkes said “ the only thing to do on a computer is play Taxes Hold ’ Em really. Obviously my cell phone is a computer. My car is a computer. I’m on computer every day without actively seeking them out.”
And also I learned what kind of preparation that I need to do in terms of using modern technology when I am the field of teaching in my students/ pupils someday.
Conceptual model of learning
Conceptual Model of learning
Through these new
conceptual models of learning, we now know that there are better ways to learn other than rote learning or memorization and that learning is for use not only in school but in real life.
The student after Ed. Tech II (Evaluation)
Having new technologies is a great challenge to everyone, I personally love to explore things and look for its benefit. If it is helpful to human being I consider it as a blessing and sharing its use is my main goal. At least somebody will testify/ feedback that the new technologies is good or not. I learn how to create my personal account in a different website in the internet.
That’s all thank you for exploring my Portfolio!!!
