The Aquarium

The aquarium shows a wide range of creatures from the nearby

ocean and beyond!They show a lot of wondrous and fascinating

creatures from the seas.

The aquarium is near the barbican/hoe and creates a marine feeling

Plymouth Hoe, referred to locally as the Hoe, is a large south facing open public space in the English coastal city of Plymouth. The Hoe is adjacent to and above the low limestone cliffs that form the seafront and it commands views of Plymouth Sound, Drake's Island, and across the Hamoaze to Mount Edgcumbe in Cornwall.

Sir Francis Drake

Sir Francis Drake was the second person in charge of an English fleet of ships in the Spanish armada which was basically a very important fight between the British and the Spanish.

He was an English sea captain, also during the 15th century he sailed completely around the world, he was the second person ever to do this.
