Lesson topics include chromatography, effervescence, liquids in microgravity and Newtons law. NASA-designed STEM experiences will challenge your engineering skills. We will create our own sinkholes to observe how caves form and how we discover them! Each participant will receive a ticket for the Natural Wonder Tour at Ohio Caverns outside West Liberty. Our group will go on the tour Saturday, June 15th. Learn about how your brain works and make fun stress relievers every day when you join this class! (Gr . 5-8) Do you want to learn about horses? How to care for them and ride? At Discovery Riders you will enjoy learning how to safely handle the horse, ride, feed and care for the horse as if you had your own. Maximum: 12 students. SOCIAL STUDIES #38 Native American Culture (Gr . 4-8) Come, discover the rich history of the Shawnee and other First Nations — how they lived, worked, hunted, and dressed! Learn to make Atlati Spears, War Clubs, Fire Starters and Bow Drills as well as skills of Flint Knapping, Hafting and Beading! When scheduling, we will do our best to assign students to their first (1st) or second (2nd)choice. Classes require a minimum of ten (10) students. SEA reserves the right to: cancel a course due to insufficient enrollment; schedule students in any of their designated choices; and/or remove students who present a discipline problem.
