What We Do. Greene’s is a total solutions provider with the expertise and capacity to execute pipeline projects of any size, from wellhead gathering lines and midstream facilities to cross-country transmission lines. We leverage a broad range of services and locations to deliver on any offshore or land project worldwide.

The world has millions of miles of natural gas, oil and refined products pipelines, transporting products from onshore and offshore oilfields to processing plants and refineries – and ultimately to the end users. Proper maintenance of these pipelines is critical to safe and efficient operations.

Decades of Pipeline ExpertiseGreene’s has decades of proven pipeline experience. Our highly trained and certified personnel will use their knowledge to provide the solutions you require. We offer services for new construction, maintenance on existing lines, pigging programs and specialty tools. No job is too small or too complex. We can do it, onshore or offshore.

New TechnologiesAt Greene’s, we research and develop cutting-edge technologies to stay in the forefront of the pipeline industry. From patented “black powder” removal chemistries and water treatment processes to hollow-core flexible urethane pigs, we will always provide our customers with the safest and most reliable services for pipeline maintenance and operations.

Let Us Do It, or Do It Yourself. Either Way, We Can Help.Greene’s can furnish a turnkey service for your pipeline project or just rent the equipment you need. Just like our pigs, we’re flexible too. We have a large inventory of rental tools and equipment including compressors, pumps, dryers, hoses, traps, piping, valves and other ancillary components needed to finish the job.

Pipeline Commissioning: Heater & Vacuum Process Greene’s has developed a unique alternative to traditional pipeline commissioning. Our vacuum and heater process has a faster turnaround time for introducing first product by evacuating the pipeline via vacuum and then pre-heating it. The main advantages to this process are: • Less high pressure operations (vs. traditional nitrogen pressure) • Eliminates the cost for nitrogen filling, flaring and pigging • Environmentally friendly – no flaring • Reduces the amount of lost productThe use of the vacuum and heater process facilitates the re-drying of the pipeline prior to commissioning, which ensures product purity.

Hydrostatic TestingGreene’s carries a full line of fill pumps, pressure pumps, filters and test instruments for projects involving pipelines, facilities, storage caverns and tanks. Our professional technicians have extensive experience performing hydrostatic pressure testing. Our services include the testing of new pipelines as well as periodic regulatory maintenance testing of existing lines. Some of the pipeline testing services and equipment offered by Greene’s include:

• Skid-mounted or Trailered Portable Units for Your Site • P.D. Pressure Pumps up to 0-25,000 psi • Test Cabins • Fill Pumps • Inline Water Filters • Calibrated Instrumentation with Certification

• Brass and Digital Dead Weights • Flow Meters • Full Offshore Testing and Pre-com Equipment Spreads • Stroke Counters • 2” - 4” Hammer Union Piping • 24-hour Pressure/temperature Recorders • PE Reviewed and Stamped Test Reports • Digital Data LoggingPatented Chemical Cleaning

Cleaning and DryingUsing our state-of-the-art equipment, we offer solutions which result in a superior level of cleaning and drying to safeguard maximum flow and product purity. Our equipment line in this area includes:

• Low and High Pressure Nitrogen • High and Low Pressure Air Compressors – 900-1,600 cfm up to 500 psi • Regeneration Dehydration Units • Dew Point Testing Equipment • After-cooler Units • Launchers, Receivers, Valves – 150-600 ANSI

Proprietary Chemical Cleaning Processes

Pipeline Pre-commissioning (new construction)Over the years, we have developed and tested a progressive cleaning process that authenticates the cleanliness of the pipeline. Our method includes the use of patented, non-aggressive poly pigs for debris removal. Once a run is complete we visually assess the pig and take measurements to verify the cleanliness of the pipeline. If necessary, chemicals are used for cleaning, corrosion inhibition and final conditioning.

Integrity Management CleaningGreene’s applies patented and proprietary chemistries to remove all manner of pipeline debris, from scale and wax to corrosion products. Our patented black powder (FeS) removal chemicals (“TRIS”) and on-line cleaning processes are highly effective and proven in thousands of miles of oil and gas production, processing and transportation systems. Black powder removal greatly improves ILI data accuracy (especially MFL) and is an effective cleaning solution for under deposit corrosion (UDC). We maintain your product throughput while batching or continuous chemical injection via our online cleaning separators and filter equipment.

Pigging Tools for Multiple ApplicationsIn addition to our standard line of pigs, Greene’s also offers specialty and custom pigs for any required application. Whether it’s for the displacement of hydrostatic test water, removal of construction debris, elimination of condensate from gas lines, or simple pipeline cleaning… we have the equipment you need to get the job done quickly and cost-effectively.

Our proprietary line of pigs includes:

Flex-I-PigsConstructed of solid cast urethane, the Flex-I-Pig has a hollow core which provides for maximum sealing. The most common uses for Greene’s Flex-I-Pigs are product batching, chemical cleaning, commissioning and displacing.

Steel Body PigsBuilt with a tough steel body, these rugged pigs can be outfitted with a number of accessories including tracking transmitters, wire brushes, discs, cups, gauging plates, and magnets.

Nitrogen ServicesNitrogen is used in many pipeline service applications, from pre-commissioning offshore deep water pipelines to drying, pigging, testing and commissioning all pipeline product types. Greene’s provides high pressure cryogenic and generated nitrogen pumping systems, including low pressure PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) and membrane generation.

Applications: • Leak Testing • Commissioning • Abandonment/decommissioning

Water Treatment ServicesAt Greene’s you’ll find a broad range of liquid handling services utilizing many of our patented technologies. Our portable solids control and filtration systems are more cost effective treating on-site versus hauling/disposing of waste water.

Applications: • Hydrotesting Water Treatment for Re-use or Discharge to Ground or Source • Flushing, Cleaning, Testing and Commissioning Fluid Treatment • Decommissioning and Abandonment Dewatering Treatment

Pipeline Training FacilityAnother thing that sets Greene’s apart is the Pipeline Training and Testing Facility. Our professionals offer classes in many of the services and procedures described in this brochure, including hydrostatic testing, pig launching and tracking, several types of pipeline cleaning, corrosion measurement, and chemical treatment training.

Hands-on, real-time field experience is gained at our training facility, so you can be confident that when your personnel return to the field, they will have a better understanding of the subject matter studied and executed at the facility. More information on scheduling classes can be obtained by emailing training@ greenesenergy.com.
