    Brief Profile of the Company:

    PIBAS Pakistan is a software company focused on developing end -user solutions for

    financial institutions. The banking solution of PIBAS include core banking for both

    conventional and Islamic banking, loans and microfinance, treasury, trade finance, leasing,

    reconciliation, etc.

    PIBAS has developed its product suite for conventional and Islamic banks aiming at

    empowering the financial industry at an affordable cost with increased operational

    efficiency and better customer service. Our current client base comprises of some leading

    commercial and retail banks in Pakistan, Oman, Qatar, Tanzania, South Africa and

    Bahamas.

    Company Description:

    PIBAS Inc. was established in 1996 as an affiliate of Pioneers Computer Company LLC.,

    Sharjah UAE (PCC), which was formed in 1985 with the sole objective of developing state-

    of-art international banking application system, PIBAS.

    The first generation of PIBAS was successfully developed and implemented in various

    financial institutions in Gulf and Pakistan regions. Our extensive development work

    continued to further strengthen the application suite by adding new modules.

    In 1996, PCC entrusted PIBAS Inc., the task of developing a more comprehensive solution

    suite based on modern technologies. PIBAS Inc., in a very short span of time, completed

    the transformation task and developed a complete suite of applications, PIBAS Plus,

    through its offshore development office in Pakistan.

    PIBAS Inc. has consolidated its posit ion as one of the very few companies in the world thatprovide end-to-end core banking solutions that are most economical, financially viable

    and are quality focused. The continued market acceptance of the Company's products and

    services, its sustained growth and invaluable confidence of customers, is a clear

    manifestation of the quality and dedicat ion, the company is committed to. We are

    constantly working to achieve excellence in the quality of products, services and solutions

    that we provide to our customers. PIBAS Paki stan is ISO 9001:2000 certified and has

    rigorously implemented processes compliant to CMMi quality standards.

    Brief History

    The parent company, Pioneers Computer Company (Pvt.) Ltd. (PCC), was established inNovember 1985 with its Head Office in Sharjah. Established as a private limited liability

    Company, the sole objective of the organization was to develop and market a

    comprehensive banking product for the international market with international quality

    standards. The initial development of the integrated application, PIBAS, was done in

    Sharjah, UAE. The new version, PIBAS Plus, has been developed in Pakistan. The group has

    offices in UAE, Canada, Kenya and Pakistan. The PCC is now serving as PIBAS sales and

    marketing office for Gulf and Africa regions.

    The Management Team:

    Mr. Khal ique Qadr i , Chief Executive Officer

    Mr. Khalique Qadri has been with the IT and Financial industry forover 40 years. During the first two decades of his professional career,

    while working with large financial institutions, he closely monitored

    the problems that those institutions were facing with the core banking

    solutions that they had. He also realized that though very expensive,

    those products lacked quality and support. As a visionary leader, he

    decided to facilitate institutions by developing world class quality

    banking products at not only affordable costs but to provide them

    best possible support after sale.

    He thus formed Pioneers Computer Company in UAE in 1985 where he successfully

    developed a comprehensive solution for banking sector. The solution acquired a wide

    acceptance by banks in Pakistan and Mid East regions. In 1996, Mr Qadri decided to openup a subsidiary of his company in Pakistan to utilize human capital of Pakistan for

    transformation of COBOL based solution on to Windows based platform. PIBAS Pakistan

    was thus formed in 1996 with an objective to provide economical and reliable IT solutions

    to empower the financial industry. Prior to establishing PIBAS group of companies, Mr.

    Qadri worked for UBL Pakistan, Stenberg Inc. Montreal Canada, and Middle-East Bank

    Dubai in various capacities. Mr. Qadri has Masters Degree from University of Karachi and

    has attended a number of specialty courses and trainings in various fields of IT and

    Finance.

    Dr. Mashhood Qazi ,

    Chief Operating Officer

    Dr. Qazi has been involved with the Information Technology since

    1990. He has worked with a number of clients and organizations to

    strengthen their IT Governance by developing strategic IT objectives,

    policy frameworks and roadmaps, risk profiles, business continuity and

    disaster recovery plans, and annual business and management plans,

    to ensure that the enterprise and IT governance frameworks enable

    clients and organizations in achieving optimal value from technology,

    people and process. With exceptional leadership skills, he has earned a

    solid experience in program management, process discipline, quality

    assurance, incident management, change management and client support, while working

    for both government and non-government sectors around the world. He has successfully

    managed planning and execution of large, complex and strategic information technology

    projects. Dr. Qazi has abilities to resolve group conflicts, identify problems and is always

    willing to make decisions. Dr. Qazi has the capability to think outside of the box and

    provide innovative solutions for increased profitability. He has worked on implementation

    of ISO standards and CMMi quality processes in various engagements world over.

    Dr. Qazi has extensive experience and expertise in the IT industry , Paki stan i, North

    American and Middle Eastern Markets. He has successfully supervised initiatives in

    Government, Financials, Telecommunications, Supply Chain, Retail and Healthcare verticals.

    Dr. Qazi holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Pakistan, MBA

    and PhD from USA. He is Member of Information Systems Audit and Control Association

    (ISACA), and IT Governance Institute (ITGI) USA. He is also Member of the Government of

    Sindh Information Technology Advisory Board and Member of the Core Group of Pakistan

    Standards and Quality Control Authority. Together with this, he is Member of Project

    Management Institute USA, MBA Association USA, and Pakistan Engineering Council.

    Mohammad Sa leem,

    Manager Technical Services Mr. Saleem has almost 18 years of experience in managing, designing, developing,

    implementing softwares for the Banking / Financial industry. He has worked for

    investment and financial services industries where he developed/managed projects for the

    Commercial/Investment/Islamic banks, Leasing companies, Modarabas, Insurance companies, etc.He has expertise in project management, planning, team building with a strong focus on

    customer relationship management through support services.

    Mr. Muhammad Saleem has been associated with PIBAS for more than 9 years. In his

    current role, he is heading the Technical Services Department providing support and

    quality control services to our valued clients. Before taking on this challenging role, he was

    heading the Development Services Department where he was instrumental in developing

    value-add modules for the PIBAS suite of banking products. He is an MCS graduate from

    University of Karachi with distinction.

    Sarda r A t t a Moham m ad,

    Senior Project ManagerSardar Atta has 11 years working experience, attached with large

    enterprise applications/organizations. He has more than 6 years IT

    industry experience and expertise that include Software Engineering,

    Database Administration, System Architect and Project Management in

    addition to 5 years banking experience worked in various departments.

    He has proven record from Programmer analyst to Project Manager and

    System Architect along with multi-dimensional experience on hand for

    the project management that includes deeply involvement in the

    complete SDLC of the systems on Windows platforms for both desktopand web based applications. He has exposure of project management of

    analysis, development and implementa tion of outsi zed products for

    large enterprises on Windows platform (.NET, Visual Studio 6, ASP, ASP.NET) for both Oracle

    and SQL Servers. These products/projects are up and running not only in Pakistan but also

    in South Africa and middle East.

    He has extensive experience on hand for project/team management, project planning,

    system architecture, supervising development and implementation of technically complex

    multi branch n-tier distributed/centralized systems on both Oracle and SQL Servers. Atta

    has the degrees of MCS and MS in sof tware eng ineering. He is Microsoft Certified

    Professional and Sun Certified Java Programmer

    Saad Java id ,

    Manager Business Development

    Saad has 10 years experience in banking and customer service.

    Moreover, experience of Management and Administration of handling

    a retail and Franchise business in America. He has worked for banks

    like Bank of America and Wells Fargo in America. He became

    employee of the year at Bank of America twice and has g ot the

    certificate due to his punctuality and accuracy. He has experienced as

    a teller, cash handler, and customer service as well as client

    relationship in branch. In add ition to that , he has taken di ffer enttraining session at different banks such as Customer Satisfaction,

    Winning Through Service and Client Relationship Management. He

    is also in touch with media industry and production houses and has

    done interviews with different celebrities. He is the member of Media council at Institute of

    Business management.

    Besides the job experience, he has done his bachelors in Commerce from Karach i

    University and Business Management from California State University, USA. He has strong

    interpersonal and good communication skills and has an ability to synchronize in any

    environment.
