Physical Education (PE)

• Report to school in PE attire on PE,ALD and CCA Days

• Girls need not put on pinafore on PE,ALD and CCA Days

• Parents kindly write a note and get your child to pass it

to the PE teacher if he/she is unfit for PE lesson

• Make sure that your child has a water bottle with them

especially on these days

Active Learning DAY (ALD)

Objectives

• To provide a broad base learning platform in sports and outdoor education, performing and visual arts.

• To create a vibrant learning environment with dynamic learners engaging in active learning.

• Be enthusiastic in pursuing sports and culture

ALD

•Participate in all the activities unless you are not feeling well, injured or exempted from the activity due to medical reasons (A parent’s letter or letter from a certified doctor is required). Try to inform your teachers in advance. E.g email, call the school etc

•Inform your teachers immediately if you feel unwell suddenly.

• Wear PE attire & school shoes on your Active Learning Day (Girls DO NOT have to wear pinafore over PE attire)

• Ask for permission from the teachers if you need to go to the toilets or go home earlier.

•P1: Every Friday (5.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.)

2015 P1 ALD Schedule

• The Total Curriculum in schools comprises the Curriculum and the Co-Curriculum. Through the Total Curriculum, students receive a holistic education which provides them with balanced development across the moral, cognitive, social-emotional, physical and aesthetic domains.

• The Co-Curriculum complements the Curriculum. It consists of and provides students with experiential learning opportunities through programmes in Co-Curricular Activities (CCA),

Is Interest Group Compulsory?

• No.

• Pupils are encouraged to join only 1 Interest

Group.

• Pupil’s yearly participation will be reflected in

the School Cockpit System only if the pupil

attains at least 80% of the total attendance for

the whole year.

How can I Sign up for Interest Group?

• Online registration starts on 23 January 2015

via Parents’ Portal.

• Closing Date: 30 January 2015

• Registration result: 13 February 2015 via CCA

teacher in-charge to pupils.

• P1 CCA will commence on 24 February 2015
